People should be thankful Chihuahuas aren't large dogs.

Perhaps after "investigating" the clowns in charge should kill some coyotes.

Petros; I beg to differ. A .22LR mushroom will kill a coyote. If one was going to hunt them, then a .270 would be better...of course.
I had a sporterized .303 Enfield, and it would definitely kill them.,,,,,,,in spades.
Traded it for a shotgun.
Sold the shotgun.
Then all I had was money.
Not worth a sh!t at 100 yds.
How close do you get to kill? Even 50m can result in a slap on the *** with .22

Backwater, Ontario.
On the farm, the pit-bulls (different ones over time) eat more mice
than all the barn cats combined I'm assuming. How about that.
Ecologically sustainable green pit-bulls.

Check out ratting with terriers on You Tube, Ron.

OY. Those lil doggies is natr'l born vermin killers.

50m = approx 150 yds......? Yep it would have to be a head shot. I agreed with you FFS, a .270 would be preferred.8O

Hunting is frowned upon by a rabid sect of the population. Squeezing off a round in a built-up area (just about any place someone might see) will get your butt fired into a legal quagmire. Live trapping requires the trapper to be smarter than the trappee. People squeeze wildlife out of the wild. Where's PETA on this one?

That's why you kill the rats. The only reason coyotes are a problem is because they have no shortage of rats. Coyotes have litters based on food supply. If half the rats were taken out in one year the following year will show a heavy reduction in births. They adapt almost instantly. It's what made them fill in the gap left after wolves were killed off at light speed.

If they can't find rats, a pomeranian will doo....

Lots of those around?
