Northern Ontario,
Really? My 1894 was bought from T Eaton company in 1915. Would they still have records?
They would have the record of the batch they sold to Eaton and that would be where the trail ends....unless it was later registered, I doubt that Eaton kept records..

But I'm sure that was a rhetorical question...lol

Ottawa shooter tried to rob Vancouver McDonald’s with stick | CTV Vancouver News

Ottawa shooter Michael Zehaf-Bibeau attempted to confess to a historical armed robbery that the RCMP believed didn’t happen, then attempted an armed robbery at a McDonald’s to go to jail, court recordings provided to CTV News show.
It was all part of a bizarre plan by the man who attacked Parliament Hill to get to jail to atone for his sins and get clean from a crack addiction, the audio recordings show.

The guy was a drug addicted homeless man with a mental illness..

One commenter on Reddit I agree with says this

"Sounds like a this could have been prevented if we had reasonable drug laws and and treated addiction as a health concern rather than a legal one. If he felt like he had a safe place to go that wasn't prison he probably would have gotten help a while ago."

I doubt they kept records of who bought a rifle in 1915.

Why would Sears GAF about Eaton's records?

I have updated my comment to be in purple since the sarcasm was obviously missed.

What a load of crap. Maybe if he was in prison for doing those said drugs ....

Maybe he turned to religion for help and guidance to get himself off drugs and have a better life. Unfortunately he wasn't able to get the help necessary, because society doesn't care about the poor and homeless.

I must add that if he had turned into a born again Christian instead of islam he might have gone on to help people in a shelter and boring them with his preaching instead of shooting people...

BTW thanks for the set-up lol

Mental illness is still a mental illness, regardless of whatever religion he decided to follow. Christianity sure as hell didn't help Anders Breivik did it?

Of course. It was society's fault. This individual bears no blame nor does the religion he turned to.

Show me one Christian church besides the westboro Baptist church that preaches violence and for every one I will show you hundreds of videos of imams preaching death to infidels

Cpl. Nathan Cirillo should absolutely not be blamed for the shooter having a mental illness. That's ridiculous.
Society should be blamed for his death and anyone else killed by a mentally ill person...
The guy was crying out for help , robbing McDonalds with a stick so he could go to prison, etc..

Yet we have pinkos and leftards who get all uppetty when we talk about mandatory incarsaration in a mental facility. We don't even make them take their drugs when they get released.

I cant speak from experience that those drugs tend to be pricey. Unless they have a good job with benefits they wont be getting those drugs at all. Hard to force them to take it when they cant get them.

I don't think you're gonna see a lot of loonie-pinching on this particular investigation.
We will give the world a lesson on red tape. Those terrorists will be so confused and frustrated by our system they'll all give up.
