CISIS is surely taking a closer look at the imams of the mosques where those guys got brainwashed.....hard to do while being politically correct..
Unless they were brainwashed on the internet like a few here...

Naw......

The RCMP are too busy looking for the source of his Winchester 94 .30-30 Assault Rifle......patented in 1894, about 8 million made. EVERYBODY has a Winchester. I have one made in 1925, bought by my grandfather. In other words....GOOD LUCK.

Before you blow a gasket on me Colpy...

Would it have been easier to locate the owner of that gun if we still had a registry?

Perhaps. But what good does locating the registered owner do? They already got the bastard that pulled the trigger. And what makes you think that just because the rifle is out there the person with criminal intent would bother to register it. Hand guns have been required to be registered in Canada since the 1930s but there are thousands of criminals out there who missed that memo as well. Automatics have been illegal for years but lots of criminals have unregistered automatics.

He doesn't really give a rats a-s-s about whether they find anything useful about the gun owner. It is no doubt a plank in Justine's platform and certainly something Harper was against so that is why he is floating this line of logic.

I agree with Colpy that the whole line of investigation is a waste of time and resources.

It seems that your political correctness is keeping you from blaming the real culprit in this case which was not the gun as you inferred in your first post in this thread or the car in the other jihad murder but a religious fanatic

You had no such qualms blaming religion in this thread you started http://forums.canadiancontent.net/canadian-politics/105577-right-wing-extremist-pleads-not.html

or this one http://forums.canadiancontent.net/hot-topics/101775-christian-lie.html

Why not admit you are an ideological hypocrite......

He should remain nameless. He didn't have a heart or a soul, why should he have a name?

That would be a strange precedent to set. Going to start rewriting history books and take out the names of all the bad guys (and gals)? A bit over the top. The guy is dead. He doesnt know if people know his name or not. And once its out online its not going away.

Seldom have I had reason to be proud of the performance of our politicians in the House of Commons, today I had every reason to do so. From the sustained standing ovation given to Kevin Vickers to the PM crossing the floor to hug his main political opponents and then the singing of our National Anthem - it was one of the finest moments I have ever witnessed in Parliament.

I didn't see the PM cross the floor. Good for him!

Gee, I guess it doesn't matter who owned the gun afterall.

Clearly the investigation into its wherabouts is a Liberal ruse. 8O

But seriously, we may never know the origins of this gun.

I will put the issue of gun registry aside for a second because it is such a sensitive topic for some people.

The fact of the matter remains that we should be investigating the source of this weapon and whether or not it could provide leads on any further acts of terror.

So you think this is a better approach than visiting his house of worship and known associates?
