Wow, Jimmy's grasping at straws and desperate, he's going to pull stuff from all around the world to try and fluster the local retiree's.

He always does that when you upset him and bruise his ego.

I guess if you consider "lolz" is a topic!

JLM, I suggest not replyng, let the sound of silence moderate his behaviour.
Otherwise this will go on and on.
I recall that old saying.
Feed a cold, starve a fool.

Did he really? (I don't recall seeing his name in pink) But if so, then he is a slow learner (and if not he's still a slow learner)-
Yes, at least once that I remember clearly. His suspension was lifted and he sulked around in the shadows for months, before daring to make a peep.

Some of us had quite the laugh at his expense.

Likely before I paid much attention to him. My first real memorable encounter was when he originally attacked me for being a greedy, selfish senior. (and it's hard to believe he's learned nothing about the matter ever since) -:)

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure there was a big fooferaw about neg reps and trolling. He was warned and got spanked with a time out. Which is one of two time outs he's been given. I can't remember what the other was about.

He'll continue to deny it, his ego is very fragile.

My grandmother used to go down to the grocery store and buy groceries on credit so lets not pretend.
LOL Well, my grandparents never bought anything on tick and my father was in his late 70's before he bought his last new car in four payments. He only did that because he didn't trust the car dealer.

By the way, have you even considered that it is not that OUR taxes are coming back to we SENIORS that put us into debt, but how our government has always squandered most of those taxes, with no regard to where it came from in the first place?? Crickey, they are still paying interest on the debt that came from actually forming this country.

Yup, I've considered it and dismissed it as a fairy tale.

Northern Ontario,
Hey Putz. Where is the list of farm subsidies?
Cannut simply hates old folks and the police......probably or maybe because his wife left him for a retired policeman...

Well consider this

https://www.greenparty.ca/node/14950

"Preamble:
WHEREAS The Bank of Canada is wholly owned by the people of Canada. It was nationalized in 1938 and was used very successfully to fund infrastructure and social programs for the benefit of all Canadians. Unfortunately, since Canada adopted economist Milton Friedman`s theory of monetarism in 1974 this has not been the case.
WHEREAS by 1974, Canada`s accumulated federal debt since confederation was 18 billion. By 1997, after the government reduced its use of the Bank of Canada to carry public debt, it had risen 3000% to a high of 588 billion. In 1992 the Auditor General of Canada determined that only 37 billion of the debt was the principle, and the remaining 363 billion was compounded interest owed to private banks and investors. Today the net federal debt, which excludes intergovernmental debt, is 490 billion. Currently Canadians pay 31 billion approximately per year, or about 170 million a day, in debt servicing (interest charged on the debt).
WHEREAS Canadians have endured a steady decline in purchasing power and increasing debts as a result of the adoption of these policies."

Can't borrow money and not pay it back but that is what our government has doing.

Yes it has. Ignoring it doesn't make it not exist.

Where are my subsidies?
How funny Farm subsidies. Call them what they are consumer subsidies.

Most consumers couldn't afford to eat if the government didn't make up the difference between the cost of production and keeping the majority of farmers in business.

Can't borrow money and not pay it back ....

Agreed. The question is who should be responsible to pay it back? The ones who borrowed it in the first place or their children and grandchildren. I'm merely pointing out that there are very few seniors that believe it is the former. Now, I could be wrong but given the responses on this thread, I would say I'm pretty much spot on.

Nope Not unless you are way under 40 years old. We old people started it right.
