Lack of purple ink is another of many failings with British manufactured computers.

I always get a kick out of the ones that can tell youeverything that happened in the known world 2000 years ago but can't put gas in their car without help.

We're ahead of you in many things. We just don't go round bragging about our amazing accomplishments, as the greatest nation that has ever existed. Unlike the Yanks, who always go round arrogantly telling everyone how "great" they are.

Depends what they're studying.

If they're at university studying "media studies" or that clot on Pointless who studied "education studies" then you know nothing.

Having a workforce with such a low # of educated people does not bode well for an economy recovering from recession

"Book education" is only one type of education. I've often found that among the book educated people you will find some of the most ignorant a$$holes! -:)

Holy shyte, I agree with JLM about something.

We had a member here once who was fond of opening with "in my oh so educated opinion"....yeah....she was fun.

Are you okay? Feeling dizzy? Do you need to lie down? Shock is not something to take lightly you know.

Pretty much. Though I don't know anyone who thinks they deserve poverty. That person sounds like a gigantic douche.

I'd suggest the family that owns Walmart believe it's workers deserve poverty.

It dosn't bode well for the UK either.
Iceland and Ireland are the only recovering western economies. While I'm here, it is easy to prove that the number of book learned are directly responsible for the botched UK econo, more of them won't help, apparently you have to actually produce stuff like goods and such.

Oh I don't doubt they're out there, I'm just glad that I don't know any. I know some douchebags, but none like that!

What you're ascribing to them suggests those kinds of individuals actually take those things into consideration. They don't. They're indifferent and I'm pretty sure they couldn't fathom true poverty.

I think they fully comprehend their actions. I don't think it's indifference but a sense of entitlement and a core belief they hold that they are better. The level of their sense of betterment is quantified in their bank balance, which equates to the amount of power they wield.
