The start of US involvement in Vietnam was in support of Ho in keeping France out - before Ho became friendly with the people Uncle Sam no likie.

The start of US involvement with SOUTH Vietnam was in advisory capacity. Only in 1964, and the Tonkin Gulf Resolution, did the US go shooting war

The Gulf thing was a flase-flag operation, the US ships were never under attack. At some point the sheer volume of lies has to point to that being a chronic condition. The people are somewhat stupid if they think that is an unimportant fact.

Does this mean we support the Islamic/Friendship pipeline or the Arab line that both NEED to go through Syria? Europa can't meet it's emission goals in time if either one is blocked from being built. What will the Greens do then?

Exactly.

The vast majority of people do not understand that the second in command of the US counter-insurgency force in Iraq was for a time a Canadian soldier......and that dozens of others served there as Canadian soldiers as well.

The vast majority of people do not understand that the second in command of the US counter-insurgency force in Iraq was for a time a Canadian soldier......and that dozens of others served there as Canadian soldiers as well.

Well, REALLY crazy, as US troops in Vietnam topped out in 1968 at about 589,000....give or take.

Oh, about 35,000 Canadians served in Vietnam.....as US soldiers.

I frankly don't take anything the worst Prime Minister in Canadian history.. a liar, a crook, an imcompentent and a blubbering fool.. too seriously. Everything he touched turned to dust.

(He has competition for the Worst of All Time accolade.. from Mulroney and Harper.. but he takes the nod, imho)

Naw....bad as Chretien was, he couldn't hold a candle to Pierre the Magnificent for worst all-time PM.

Although Chretien DID manage to make Mulroney look like a relatively honest man....not an easy task.

Harper is the best PM we've had in 50 years or more.

Scary, isn't it??
