The only thing that pisses me off is that this was so obviously a complete set-up. The only point of the entire exercise was to be refused service. It's just a big fat blob of negativity from start to finish and nothing good will come of it because of that.
At the coaching meeting last night for my girl's team, we were told that, if a girl is injured on the soccer field, a male "team official" (e.g. coach/manager) must be accompanied by a female. You should have heard the hue and cry. 20 minutes of scenariois: what if it's my daughter? does the female companion have to have criminal record check? what if the woman is a male-to-female transexdual who self-identifies as a lesbian (OK, I made that one up).
You know what? Who cares? It's a bit retarded but there's a lot of creeps out there. I'll tag one of the mom's before each game. If there's no moms there (very unlikely) and a girl is hurt on the field, I'll deal with it adn pay the piper later.
Hockey's even worse. After one of their "risk management" meetings for the coaches you need a shower.
