Are you sure of that? People can surprise you!

I can never figure out Obamas popularity, .
I can't either, considering 90% of the posts! -
As far as politics go, I doubt if popularity is a desired trait.
Popularity is just a measure of how closely he/she is connected to the sheeple!
I've no clue about Canadian politics , but here in my little world, the majority of conservatives that I have to work with, seem to think that it is their responsibility to share their obsessions with people who don't care to hear about their obsessions. You don't like the President and think that every time someone farts it's his fault?,,fine. Keep it to yourself because I'm tired of hearing about it. Let me listen to my music and leave me alone. That's kinda my attitude in regard to this subject.
Not even close. I'm 59 and have lived through several Presidents in my days, both Republican and Democrat. And never have I seen such an obsession as this. Doesn't matter what issue is popular , what conversation is going on, the subject being discussed will every single time, return to the conservatives hatred of the President. It is an obsession fed daily by talk show whiners, who, quite honestly, are poor losers. And it is sick in my opinion. Take that perspective for what it's worth. Add a quarter and you might be able to buy a pack of gum at the dollar store.Ironically the same as the Democrats when a Republican President is at the helm!
It's actually quite boring as well. I'd rather talk fishing or the upcoming college football season. Not even close. This took me all of about 5 minutes to find.....
Democrats are above all hypocrites....
I actually liked George W. Bush. Especially his involvement with Elton John in regard to Aids research. Also his involvement with President Clinton in other altruistic activities. And I am a registered Democrat. We do like to categorize each other by our affiliations. And in that categorizing, we dehumanize each other continually, constantly. This is politics, and this is why as a society nothing will ever get accomplished. Because all of us think we have sole possession of the truth and anyone that disagrees with us has to be wrong. You may have forgotten the vitriol directed toward George W. Bush! Actually much of what you hear toward Obama is tongue in cheek.
They all fall into that category!
Yes we all understand the great google god to be infallible. I stand corrected..Efforts to impeach George W. Bush - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

But that's because he started two needless wars that killed thousands of Americans, hundreds of thousands of Middle Easterners,
and cost us over a trillion dollars.
Every knows he dropped the ball on Katrina though some right wingers here remain in denial. Moreover, some deluded right wingers tried to put the blame on Dem mayor Nagin and Dem governor Blanco for the fiasco even though they should have been credited for saving lives. Bush's response: "you're doing a great job Brownie".
All Leaders have quite a few advisors . It's not like they make all of their decisions on all things on their own. It's kinda like FDR taking most of the credit for the New Deal programs because of course he's in the spotlight. But he had many advisors including people like Frances Berger. (hopefully I remembered the name correctly), and also his wife. And of course the right hated him and the left loved him. That's the way it is. We judge the person wearing the hat. And, we have our entertainers fanning the flames Like Rush, Beck, on the right, and Stewart and Maher on the left, and making millions in the process. And all of us commoners choose sides and prop up game as best we can. Maybe it's time to find some sort of common ground and let the status quo which solves damn near nothing, slip into history.Actually there wasn't a lot wrong with Dubya, he sure didn't take any crap from anyone and he didn't "sit on the fence" regarding issues and right or wrong you could depend on him for a decision. He did "drop the ball" on Katrina I thought!
You should ask the Kuwaiti's how they felt about Hussein and if US intervention wasn't needed and appreciated.
Solyndra, et al
Yeah, the mayor of NOLA really sprung into action on Katrina... But only after it was far too late.
Talk about closing the barns doors after the horses have left
Ludlow,
