No doubt there's other members following other leads.
I'm thinking if there's any good news we'll hear momentarily, bad news may take a day or so.
I'm kind of obsessed with this case and I'm not sure why but it really freaks me out...maybe because the grandparents are around my age and I keep projecting myself into the scene and how we live in Canada and we are safe and how if you have your husband at home with you and your grandbaby, nothing bad can happen... and then it did.

and he isn't a stranger, that part is terrifying

its weird huh, what plays through your head...but this couple with this kid it's on a loop for me

Hence the boat? F150s don't float.

Thanks, I figured they did. I will never buy one as a boat.
We live in a world of want. Instant solutions, instant action with quick solution to crimes, this is just another example.
Be wary of that trap.

I know this will end like an episode of Criminal Minds. Sad to say but....

Yes, it has me a little more traumatised than most. Maybe because I have grandchildren in and close to Calgary. I know Calgary a bit and have always regarded it as a friendly city. (Hate their driving habits though) -:)

Nope, I would have been in Courtenay- that was probably 1981. The A$$hole was arrested near Ucluelet with a couple of girls in the car.

We had a resort on Wood Lake at the time. Cops were rampant. Even undercover cops were camping. That was something I'll never forget.

Some more news in the matter. The "person of interest" has been returned to custody and a charge laid of identity theft, pertaining to the original case back in the 90s.

I wonder what led them to Wood Lake, as all the cases were in the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland. Could the cops just have chosen a nicer location to camp? -:)

They left no stone unturned after reports of him in the area.

F-cking jib rat.

I don't think they have the right guy for this crime, Petros, as there is nothing to indicate he's violent (just sneaky) I certainly doubt he's a mass murderer, so the cops better keep looking methinks.

Jib rat not violent? Geeees man. I know you're out of the loop but man. Methamphetamines will keep a user awake for weeks causing them deep paranoia and hallucinations.

I think you are making a bit of a leap, because he makes the sh*t doesn't automatically mean he uses it.
