Looks like it's back to business as usual in Iraq for U.S. troops!

Life goes on when your belly is full, lights or no lights.
and how would that happen with no hydro?

how do you cook, store your food, pump gas,

think Walking Dead without the zombies...

no more restaurants
no high tower office workers
no computers
no tv
no communication
no cell phones

so are you saying the invasion was justified and that these deaths were worth it?

where are the parades and the thank yous then?

where's the gratitude for the rescue

or are all of these deaths in vain because the people are worse off than they were when we went in?

can you show me how these people are better off now than they were, because that's what you are saying correct?
we rescued them from Saddam so thus things are much better
if you can show me how much good we have done instead of merely saying how bad it was, I am more than open to a possible change of mind

nah I would take out the power sources...no food as it would spoil, no lights, no way to cook, or cool/warm the house

If and where things are worse most of it is due to insurgents! You really think Iraq was better off when Saddam and his two sons were alive? Maybe you should check with the Kurds about that!

How? Wood.

No more? Try temporary. Power is easy to come by compared to waiting a year for more food.

Power is unnecessary for most things.....................coal oil lamps, gas stoves and fridges. Not sure if anyone has invented a computer yet that runs on propane, but that's probably next! -:)

Did it require flattening of all power, water, sewer, schools, hospitals, roads, food processing, growing, livestock and industry to round up 13 people?

Fortunately none. Had he been in in 2003 we would have been in Iraq. He has said so himself

Hind sight is a great thing. Back in 2003 pretty well everyone was in favour of taking out Saddam. I have vivid memories of the day they pulled his statue over...........everyone including is own people were cheering.

wood? seriously?

I think you have not even considered the consequences of what would happen to us as a country (not just your little neck of the woods) if they removed our power supply

Without food nothing else has value or use.

yes

don't need to...I just check the number of deaths via invaders (that would be us)

but if you can show me how the Kurds life has improved or anyone's life for that matter I am open to examine it...but I need more than your feelings on the issue

ya backed the wrong horse dude

I don't think so, Sorry.

I recall at the outset the task was to wipe out infrastructure and spare lives.

that is correct which is why hydro is the thing to aim for...

there is no way to keep your food from rotting, no way to cook it and no transportation of food and no where to buy food and no one working in grocery stores...so can you explain to me how you foresee all of this as okay without hydro and we're going to be burning wood?

where's the wood coming from...how much wood? (you might want to look at population break down)

who has the capability of burning wood?

backup power in hospitals only lasts so long

how are you going to move food without transportation

you have not thought this through...

I don't think so, Sorry.

I recall at the outset the task was to wipe out infrastructure and spare lives.

no need to apologize just give me the facts to demonstrate why you are correct, tell me how the average Iraqi's life is better...explain it to me

what does your video show...lay it out...I'm interested

in your opinion then, this was a humanitarian invasion and it was successful?

Geewhiz JLM can you please explain how wiping out everything to get 12 people spared lives. They are still dieing from that devastation 12 years later.

Learn from the ol'west.. they killed all the Buffalo and starved out all the Wagon Burners..

Pretty easy to tame a hungry wolf.
it's not the old west... no need to kill all of the buffalo, just shut down daily life presto, easy... we live in cities not out on the plains

check population distribution
