The Habs battled to the end. They certainly exceeded most playoff expectations.

Well, the best team won it tonight although not necessarily the best goalie. I think the Habs ran the tank a little low in game 5!

It was a grand run for the Habs, JLM. Kudos to the team for getting as far as they did. I guess they answered all the questions surrounding a back-up goalie when Price is hurt. Tokarski is earning huge creds today for his incredible play during the games he played as well he should.
Now I will switch to cheering for Alain's team as he surely has shown what a great coach he is in his first year with the Rangers.

moore is a very good player, scored the goal last night, and almost scored another to seal the deal.
last year was a very tough year for him as you know, and he has survived it well to move forward, thats as far as i want
to know about his private life, i don't care who likes him or who doesn't.
Yeah, I'll root for the Rangers although I won't be as vigilant as with the Habs- too much seasonal stuff to do without tying up 3 hours a night in front of the idiot box. Moore is extended family of my brother, although my bro. isn't very happy with him at the moment. -![]()
Sorry, I should have typed that in purple.
I'll be vigilant in your stead, JLM as any seasonal stuff around here has been put off until the rain stops and it warms up.
I don't do East/West. I cheer for a team for all kinds of reasons but my support goes to the team I have chosen as My Team which most here know is the Penguins or the Riders depending on the sport. There are a few players on both the Hawks and the Kings that I really like - Toews and Carter come immediately to mind but this time I am cheering for a coach - and Alain's the guy. Oh, and the Rangers also have one of my top five players - Mighty Mouse.
Personally, and with about 1/100th of the hockey knowledge that talloola possesses, I am hoping the Hawks win the West as I think the Kings will be a tougher team for the Rangers.
I bet they are pissed off in Chicago right now- anyway it suits me! -![]()
Kings v Rangers
West v East Coast
should be quite a series!

Geography is not an issue for me in this one, I'm behind the Rangers! -![]()

Folks often view it as regional rivalries. In fact, I already heard it mentioned that way on sports radio. Anyways, I'm with you = Go Rangers!
Kudos for the Broadway Blues:
