According to Al Gore, the Arctic is now ice free.....I suppose I should listen to him too, huh??

These idiots couldn't predict what day it will be tomorrow.......................

Maybe you shouldn't just drink all the kool aid as it is given to you and actually research things before you go calling other people names.

Here is what Al Gore actually said.

"Last September 21 (2007), as the Northern Hemisphere tilted away from the sun, scientists reported with unprecedented distress that the North Polar ice cap is "falling off a cliff." One study estimated that it could be completely gone during summer in less than 22 years. Another new study, to be presented by U.S. Navy researchers later this week, warns it could happen in as little as 7 years."

And here is some information around it.

David Suzuki: Climate change is here

Right its been here for 4.5 billion years. In fact we're in a rather moderate and stable period.. compared to the geological extremes we've seen in the past.

The only thing for sure is NONE of it, now or then, had anything to do with anthropogenic carbon.. an infinitessimal trace element in the grand scheme of things.

So thanx for that David.. but you're a damn fool.. if not a raving lunatic.

Death has also been around since the beginning of time, but we still find that looking at the rate at which people die and how they die is somewhat important.

Doesn't acknowledging that the world existed before like 6000 years ago kinda nullify your whole rule book?

In fact we're in a rather moderate period of stabilty.. compared the geological extremes we've seen in the past.

Extremes vs stability are two different things. You can be very stable at an extreme. The climate is actually changing at a faster rate than normal, so not stable.

Catholicism has always taken the Genesis story as allegorical and theologically structural.. not literal.

So the climate has been moderate AND stable. It still 'nullifies' the AGW theory.. which provides NO answers or reasons for the climate tumult in the past.. that they in have NO clue as to what causes climate changes and epochs. And proves what should be obvious to all, AGW is a pseudo science, it is in fact a pack of lies, meant to promote a political and social agendas associated with eco-utopian, radical environmentalism.

It has nothing to do with science. It's an occult belief system, nothing more. Suzuki is one of its high priests.. NOT a scientist.

This is what I think is so dumb about people who reference the bible to back up their beliefs.

For some reason, in certain cases, if it is in the bible then it is truth, but in other cases, you can just choose revise it or choose not to just ignore it.

There is a ton of research into the changes in our climate over time. Where have you been looking?

And since then, and for ten years before that, there has been very little warming.....VERY little.

Al Gore is a con man that has used Chicken Little tactics to make himself rich.........

You are a con man. Nothing about what you said is accurate.

Gore never said that it would be ice free by 2013. He cited two different studies with different predictions. The earliest possible prediction was by this fall, the upper end was 2029.

That was such a gross scene, now they talk like they are going to get married to each other.

In the extreme (and to save energy) Canada could move to Mexico for the frosty months and then go north for the growing/harvest/maintenance season.

Global Warming isn't because of humans, it was God's will and part of his plan.

His Sim World game was getting boring and Christians don't like him using the Bowser Disaster because it confuses them, so he hit the GW button.

It should be an interesting summer. We are supposed to be at the 11-year solar maximum, but the sun, apparently, has been quieter than it has been in over a century. We are in the cooling cycle of the ~30 year Pacific Decadal Oscillation. And it looks like wea re in for an El Nino event this year. That should bring rain to California and the southern states--which, in moderation--will be a good thing. But possibly more drought for Australia.

"While some of this incoming solar radiation bounces back into space, a small portion of it is trapped by the delicate balance of gases that make up our atmosphere. Without this layer of insulation, Earth would simply be another frozen rock hurtling through space."

Wrong, the magnetosphere is our shield, also you should google Van Allen Belts.

Insulation is a heat shield.

A "heat shield" in any way I have ever heard the phrase used is something that shields something else from heat, not allows heat in and then traps it.

Would you call the glass on a greenhouse a "heat shield"?
