I'm not prickly at all. If the Liberals had brought forth a viable leader who was try and tested like Frank McKenna I might have voted for them. This "silver spoon in mouth" child king will never get my support. He will be very bad for the country [not that he'll be PM] and a resounding disappointment to his supporters; much like Obama.

Former Liberal leadership contender Martha Hall-Findlay slammed Trudeau in a Huffington Post opinion piece Tuesday.
"Except in rare cases "¦ requiring any MP to vote in a particular way runs contrary to some of the basic tenets of our democracy," Hall-Findlay wrote.
Though Hall-Findlay says she's pro-choice, she still argues Trudeau's decision will keep good people from running for the Liberals.
Former Liberal MP Clifford Lincoln was also harshly critical of Trudeau's edict in an Montreal Gazette editorial.
"It is doctrinaire, judgmental and, in my modest view, the antithesis of liberalism," Lincoln wrote.
Criticism has also come from former Liberal MPs Jim Karygiannis and Tom Wappel, but when he was asked about what fellow Grits say about him Trudeau doubled down.
"I was glad to show leadership," he said.
Liberal MP Rodger Cuzner says Trudeau is simply trying to head-off abortion opponents who might seek Grit nominations - something the Campaign Life Coalition has said is underway.
"The leader said that if you're coming to our party thinking that you're going to advocate on one particular issue, whether it's abortion or you know, whatever it might be, then maybe you might want to rethink that," said Cuzner.
Meanwhile, Trudeau continues to come under fire for not condemning sex-selective abortion.
"I think anybody that's using their brain would say it's abhorrent to discriminate against girls in this way, to say that it's OK to just end a pregnancy strictly because it's a girl, they don't want a girl, they don't value girls," said Conservative MP Mark Warawa, who has tried to get Parliament to condemn the practice.

Liberal MP John McKay says on a recording obtained by CTV News that he thought Trudeau had a “bozo eruption” and didn’t think about what he said when he declared that anti-abortion candidates won’t be allowed to run for the Liberals. He added that it “scares the hell” out of him that Trudeau’s brain trust could have thought this through without realizing how much of a “toxic issue” this is.
Are you under the impression that Trudeau just invented the idea of a whipped vote?
He hasn't had a chance at a general election yet, but he already has results in term of by-elections, fundraising, and yes, polls.
Even if you discount polls, the fundraising is still huge. By election results are huge. The party is in much much better shape than before he took the reins.
There is no way that you got some of that stuff from CBC. Some of that has been summarily discredited by every reputable news organization.
I mean, you put the whole "Quebecers are better" thing right at the top, and everyone knows that was him talking about his father's views in a documentary years before he was an MP. The chopping of the tape would be funny if some people didn't believe it.

This is straight out of the conservative attack ads. The only "news" organization that reports this stuff the way you seem to understand it is Sun News.
