Even if he is, so what? Do gay men threaten your masculinity? Homophobes are closet queens, terrified of their own sexuality. Quite often they try to over compensate for their fear by bedding dozens of women only to find their is no real satisfaction because in their soul they need a man to satiate their need. Personally, I can NOT see the attraction between two same sex couples... well unless it's women, and then sometimes not so much...

But I guess it's all about nature, I mean I always thought humans were the logical species, the superior species, but I guess when it comes to sex.. it's just about animal instinct .. if 2 male dogs can do it why not 2 human guys..

However I have no objection to these people shacking up and spending quality time with each other whatever. Given the overpopulation and multitude of kids who need adoptive parents, wouldn't a form of marriage that promotes adoption be a huge benefit to the world?

foster homes where the kids are just a source of income, (I realize some foster parents should be sainted)
or living with a gay couple who want them, adore them and go out of their way to make sure the kids needs are met and likely exceeded

That's actually not what i said, or contains only part of it. The entire cultural, constitutional and economic structure of civilizations are formed on faith and moral principles. Read Oswald Spengler's Decline of the West.

He predicted virtually everything we see today.. including to devolution of Science into number forms and belief systems without recourse to rational empirical methods or practical utility (AGW, modern cosmology) , the growth of radical individualism and collapse of moral consensus (abortion, homosexual legitimization, legalized euthenasia), economic fragmentation and collapse spurred on by quasi religious ideologies (Free Market Capitalism).

He seemed to think it was inevitable. I still think a free and reasoning society need not disassemble itself into a New Dark Age.. but i'm becoming ever less optimistic. We are governed by superstition and fear, and culture inundated with death and pessimism alleviated only by material gratification.. and nothing good can come of that.
