I'm serious. Man's thinking they are doing good can be more harmful in the long run. Just look at our own forests.

Do you really expect anyone to know if you're in a serious or a contrary-for-the-sake-of-being-contrary phase?

I tried to get through to him on this a while ago.

That ship has sailed and it's not coming back.

Do you still ramble on about rainforests and ozone layer or just beat the AGW drum crap as you guzzle your Starbucks in paper cups?

I'm selling off all my lab glassware used for soil management. Want to by some? You could use it for it's intend purpose or set up a meth lab or make really cool bongs to smoke from while beating your unsubstantiated drum.

Griffins, Erlenmeyers, volumetrics, graduated cylinders, flasks. boiling flasks, condensers, test tubes, pipettes you name it.

Exactly. Should have left the crude stay where it was, left the forests alone, quit throwing crap into the oceans, quit messing with the wildlife populations, etc. Sure I can benefit to a degree from some of the above, but there's not much choice to do otherwise now. And if I quit, it wouldn't make any difference to the scale of things. As it happens, though, our footprint on the area is pretty minimal.

Without crude and forestry you probably wouldn't exist.

Pyrex carboys? I could use 2 18l ones or one 45 l one.

Not now I agree, but as I said before, there isn't much choice otherwise or didja miss that part?

Or a reign of people on acid? -:)
Can you imagine what you could 'cook up' just on the areas that were denuded and then eroded away once cattle mucked it all up? Good thing Breaking Bad didn't get into that lab, no telling what Walter would have come up with.
Normally if it is a 'garden' when you find it it should be kept that way. If you want a path for migrating 4 legged things like wildebeests then you should put them on the ground that is made up of their old droppings rather than someplace a butterfly has to 'spread out' or it would sink. The crime is there is no attempt to restore the eroded places.
