You assume too much. I don't back anything. I would like to see that sun flare my friend is praying for wipe out all power grids and fry all electrical equipment on the planet. I would like to see the world population drop by 75%. I would like to see human stupidity be the cause of their own demise. I do not hold humanity in any high regard whatsoever. We may have the intellect of a 40 year old, but we have the emotional and spiritual level of a kindergarten drop out.

As long as it does not affect you and your choices. Why do you not off yourself?

I suppose, but I try not to "borrow" trouble before it happens. And hey, I lived for years without a/c, probably before there was such a thing.-:)

You're not that old.

1914 Air conditioning comes home for the first time. The unit in the Minneapolis mansion of Charles Gates is approximately 7 feet high, 6 feet wide, 20 feet long and possibly never used because no one ever lived in the house.

Brown out isn't a black out. You can't just shut off power stations and hydro damns without making really big bangs.

It's not good. Controlling people's lives through supply is outrageous.

to shut down a grid they don't need to shut down a dam or a power station.

We have had a 'smart meter' for 2 years or longer.

Today I looked out our side window and saw footprints in the snow leading to out 'smart meter'?

I could trace the footprints and they went way over to the next house to their meter.

When we first were notified that 'they' would be coming the indication was that 'meter readers' would no longer be required.

Apparently somebody doesn't trust the SM's as they are still sending someone to read them.........

Northern Ontario,
Do you have other meters there?
At my house the hydro, the water and the natural gas meter are all within a few feet of each other, on the same side of the house.
So is my next door neighbour...... I can't see the rest of the houses in the neighbourhood, but I suspect that they are all together like that because it makes for easier snow clean-up that every home owner has to do for easy access....at least for the gas meter and shut of valve.

It's a good thing somebody can get preference over you or turn off power in your home circuit by circuit, appliance by appliance?

That means just your computer and your TV can be shut off, leaving you oblivious to what may be something horrific or highly illegal and immoral being performed by the powers that be.

You are far too trusting of Govt.

They cannot turn off individual circuits in your house. Physically impossible unless you have a "smart" house, which few people have.

Not all the cell system is set up to read meters yet. SO many are really a dumb meter.
Our power consumption dropped when we got the smart meter by about $12.

How much are you willing to wager?

Your farm if I thought it had any resale value.
