Let me make things clear for you. All the smart people that can see through the ad's where already voting for him. From Quebec or any where.
Many dumb people in Quebec where not planing to vote for Justin Trudeau. But now, thanks to the ad may be fooled into voting for him.
And all the dumb people in Canada that where not going to vote for him anyways Still will not vote for him thanks to the ad.

So, yes basically the ad helps Justin in Quebec immensely.
The conservatives handed Quebec over to Justin on a silver plater.

Win Quebec and win Ontario and that's all the liberals need for a majority liberal goverment.

You ever been anywhere in Canada other than Ontario and Quebec?

So we need less transparency, accountability and local control of our economy and jobs?

When it comes to a government that's been ignoring basic physics because it contradicts economic and political interests there's a serious problem. On the climate change issue alone Canadians have been paying heavily from the costs of extreme weather and changing habitats and that will almost certainly increase in the coming years. I'm looking forward to seeing how creative you and your party can get in explaining away the blatantly obvious.

As far as pipelines go the simple fact is they often leak and sometimes disastrously, people should have a choice about having them built through areas where they live.

Third oil spill fuels calls for Alberta pipeline review - The Globe and Mail

The company that wants to build the Keystone pipeline has a bad record of safety.

So the problem doesn't seem to be in the interpretation of facts, but the ignoring of facts that may negatively affect certain interests that have very powerful political clout. So the question becomes how long do we avoid dealing with reality out of fear of pissing off power special interests.

Btw, there is no political physics and we ignore the real stuff at our own peril. Any ideology that avoids dealing with the real world is eventually going to collapse under the effects of doing so.

In some cases yes. Depends on what you call transparency too. As for local control over the economy that needs to be corrected fast. I live in an area that has become infested with rich retirees in the last few years and they protest anything remotely resembling economic activity as it might affect the lifestyle they are trying to assume. No care at all for those of us that spent our lives here. SO we need a government that has the balls to over ride them.

I've been from PEI to Vancouver Island and what I see scares me - deluded sheeple falling for the ruling classes BS propaganda. The status quo must be maintained at all costs, even at their own expense. Meanwhile the ruling elite laugh at us all the way to the bank.

In retrospect I'm just having a bit of a chuckle about the title of the thread - "Justin Trudeau gets the job done".

He's just started in the job. ;-)

If this were a boxing match (something he's familiar with) he just showed up in the ring for the title fight. The pre-fight rhetoric is over and he's got many rounds to go.

I agree with you except I don't even think he has made it to the title fight yet: some politicians burn out before they get to the election.

So far, Trudeau Jr doesn't impress me, but then I have a severe dislike for what his old man did/wanted to do to this country. The dislike of the father does affect my judgement and although he may be his own man, I feel we learn too much from our parents to be completely separate from their influences and teachings. The fact that I haven't cared for any Liberal leader as long as I have been alive, doesn't work in J.T.'s favour.

Trudeau ad shot on TV set of DeGrassi High – show’s producer Liberal donor

After seeing that the Liberals had used the DeGrassi High television set to record their leader Justin Trudeau’s ad (see here), a few suspicious questions popped into mind which led me to look into who is behind this TV show.

Although the DeGrassi franchise was originally a CBC show, it now runs on CTV/Bell Media (see here) by the production company Epitome Pictures whose president is Stephen Stohn (see here).

Digging a little further, I ran across this post:

The Canadian Federal MP for my riding of Parkdale/High Park, Sarmite (Sam) Bulte, is holding a fundraiser hosted by various lobbyists: Doug Frith (President of Canadian Motion Pictures Distributors Association – CMPDA), Graham Henderson (President of Canadian Recording Industry Association CRIA ), Jackie Hushion (Executive Director of the Canadian Publishers Council), Danielle LaBossiere (Executive Director of the Entertainment Software Alliance ESA) & Stephen Stohn (DeGrassi producer, who spoke to the Copyright Board of Canada) on Jan 19th, four days before a general Federal Election.

That's a little disturbing.
Perhaps it is if you pay much attention to ads, I suppose.
About the only thing about ads I pay attention to is frequency: the more frequent an ad shows up, the more likely I am to be annoyed by it and the less likely I am to swallow what the ad's about. Also, the more an ad insults people's intelligence, the more annoyed I get.

Bad advice: Think Justin Trudeau’s instincts are scary? Take a look at what two of his advisers have to say

What are Justin Trudeau’s foreign policy views, especially about the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Two years ago, Trudeau criticized the new citizenship guide for new immigrants, called Discover Canada. One passage in that guide book said, “Canada’s openness and generosity do not extend to barbaric cultural practices that tolerate spousal abuse, ‘honour killings,’ female genital mutilation, forced marriage or other gender-based violence.”

Pretty tough to disagree with that. But Trudeau did. He said, “There needs to be a little bit of an attempt at responsible neutrality” by the Canadian government. Honour killings shouldn’t be called “barbaric,” he said.

I honestly do not understand why you waste time in here trying to link JT to 'Islamic Terrorists.'. The Opinion is this fora appears to be that its your ' personal affectation', which I suppose makes it harmless.

However, it tends , LOC, to cause the rest of us to skim your opinions...
