I wasn't kidding, lol. -10 when it first comes on in November feels so freaking cold but when you hit March and it's "only" minus 10, man you can't wait to get that coat open because you're over heating!

There is 15kg of fat in the fridge that I can finally start tieing into tonight. Now that is good news.

Best of all tonight being Xmas eve we get to open our presents. Old family tradition so we have Christmas for 2 days. Tonight the presents tomorrow the dinner. I k now, I get to cook the dinner but it is nice to have the family eat heartily , chat and just enjoy the time together. This year I simplified dinner as well..........I bought 2 pumpkin pies (no one can louse up pumpkin pie can they?) made an apple pie yesterday. After dinner there will be a lot of help getting leftovers ready to go home with son and daughter in law. So we won't be eating left over turkey for a month. Everything is coming up roses ,OK that's figuratively , because while we are warmer here than the East we do have several feet of snow out there and it isn't in any danger of melting off.

Geezuz Les, bone infection sounds painful. Hope she makes a full recovery. Best to Anna and you for the new year. Miss her wisdom on here.
