It's about time...

An incident occurred in a supermarket recently when the following was witnessed: A Muslim woman dressed in a Burkha (a black gown & face mask) was standing with her shopping in a queue at the checkout. When it was her turn to be served , and as she reached the cashier, she made a loud remark about the Canadian Flag lapel pin which the female cashier was wearing on her blouse. The cashier reached up and touched the pin and said, 'Yes, I always wear it proudly. My son serves abroad with the forces and I wear it for him.

The Muslim woman then asked the cashier when she was going to stop bombing and killing her countrymen explaining that she was Iraqi. At that point an elderly gentleman standing in the queue stepped forward and interrupted with a calm and gentle voice, and said to the Iraqi woman, 'Excuse me, but hundreds of thousands of Canadian men and women, just like this lady’s son have fought and sacrificed their lives so that people just like YOU can stand here in Canada, which is MY country, and allow you to blatantly accuse an innocent check-out cashier of bombing YOUR countrymen.

It is my belief that if you were allowed to be as outspoken as that in Iraq, which you claim to be YOUR country, then we wouldn't need to be fighting there today. However - now that you have learned how to speak out and criticize the Canadian people who have afforded you the protection of MY country, I will gladly pay the cost of a ticket to help you pay your way back to Iraq. When you get there, and if you manage to survive for being as outspoken as what you are here in Canada, then you should be able to help straighten out the mess which YOUR Iraqi countrymen have got you into in the first place, which appears to be the reason that you have come to MY country to avoid.'

Apparently the queue cheered and applauded. It's nice to be Canadian and proud.

As per usual you all are so tied up in being pro war or anti war and who did what for which reason that you all fail to see you are pitted against each other by the same masters for the simple reason of keeping you blind to the truths. Wars are not fought for freedom or rights. They never really have been. They are fought for profit and money. The bankers don't care who is fighting who or what false reason. They finance both sides for profit and care more that the wars continue than anything else. Unfortunately you are all too stupid to shut up, stop fighting among yourselves and see what war is really all about.

I'm sure you would. The fact remains, however, that even if Germany had taken over all of Europe, and Japan all of Asia, neither possessed the means to invade North America. Even assuming they wouldn't be 100% tied up dealing with insurrections in their occupied territories.

Germany didn't have the capacity to conquer Europe... Until they took over Poland... Then France... And so on and so on.

That said, stating, as a fact, that Germany could not invade NorAm is remarkably speculative at best

So, because it's written somewhere on the net, it must be true

I might support remembrance day if it commemorated all those who died in war, women, children, the elderly as well as those who fell for the propaganda to fight. As it is, this day only glorifies the stupidity of blind patriotism, and yes... war. I feel sorry for those who got sucked in to giving their lives for the profit of a few, but my heart goes out to all their innocent victims more.

One more thought for you Cliffy- If it hadn't been for the actual soldiers, sailors, airman, marines engaged in the actual battles you and I may be victims too.

of course, what ever you say.

Well, one good thing about war, it sure puts an end to depressions!

And that is the stupidity I talk about. We are victims. So are the soldiers on all sides of any conflict. The ONLY winners in any war are the bankers. Sooner everyone realizes that the sooner the only war that will ever really matter and make a difference can start, the citizens of the planet against the 1% and their monkeys we call govts. Stop buying the lies and propaganda and stop being blind and stupid.

Link to what?

A link to put some "meat" in your last post. Hitler had already invaded Czechoslovakia and Poland before the Allies got into it. If you don't think he was on a killing spree, I'd like to see the proof, otherwise you are just blowing smoke out your A$$ like Keegstra.

Read what I have said, ya stupid brainless old man. Your stupidity is getting very tiresome. At no time did I say that hitler was not an issue in Europe, and that was European fault. He was not an issue for Canada. No threat to us. No threat to my "freedoms".

You're an idiot, Gerry. You seem to think that a number of years makes a person an "old man" and as far as brains go I'll put mine against yours any day of the week. Hitler was not going to stop while there was someone to defeat. Why do you think he was trying to "cleanse" the world?

Nope. I think he was encouraged to go to war by the bankers. You know JLM, the same international bankers that financed everyone involved in WW2. The same ones who financed WW1 and Korea, Vietnam, Iraq 1&2, Afghanistan etc, etc, etc. The same ones who created 2 depressions in the early part of the century on purpose and then burst the bubble in 2008 and robbed the US citizens of $1 trillion. The ones who robbed Canadian citizens of $200 billion or more. The ones who just robbed Cypriots of 50% of their bank deposits. I think those bankers play games for profit and the fact idiots like you buy their propaganda hook, line & sinker then go back for more is amusing to them.

You gotta be kidding.

Mein Kampf spells out Hitlers agenda pretty clearly and to my knowledge, no where in that doc was mention of bankers or anything remotely related
