Each week there are football blowouts across the nation. Rarely are they more one-sided than the 91-0 rout Aledo High (Aledo, Tex.) put on Western Hills High (Fort Worth, Tex.). Now, one parent has apparently been so concerned by the final scoreline that they took the extraordinary step of filing an official bullying report with the school district because of the thrashing.

As reported by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and other Dallas-area outlets, the official bullying report was filed by a Western Hills parent on Saturday, hours after the final whistle ended the most one-sided game so far this year in the Lone Star state. Texas regulations require Aledo’s principal to launch a full investigation into the bullying allegation.

The administration is then to produce a written report addressing the bullying complaint.

If it was surprising that Aledo racked up 91 points on Friday, it was no shock that their win was a dominant one. The Bearcats are among the state’s most powerful squads year-in, year-out. Friday’s victory improved the team’s record to 7-0, with Aledo now averaging a whopping 69 points per game. They’ve outscored their district foes by an incredible 77 points-per-game.

Pfft, don't get me started with hockey.

Hockey is a real man's sport. None of this stopping every 7 seconds for a half minute rest, no getting rides of the field in a cart for the dreaded 'turf-toe' or a banged pinky finger. Hockey players get stitched up on the bench or in the tunnel and are back on the ice for the next shift. Get hit in the head, no taking 3 weeks off like football, hockey players grab some smelling salts from the trainer and then go get a goal or in a fight.

There is no sport tougher than hockey.....'cept maybe Gaelic Hurling.....that sh*t is nasty vicious. It has been described as 'athletic manslaughter'. It's like a cross between lacrosse, baseball and rugby with no padding.

Some parents are nuts. For the bullying charge the judge should order a thirty day
mental exam. So they were hammered, beaten or destroyed but the score speaks
for itself. If the team stayed in the game they deserve to be praised not many would
hang around for that much punishment. Bullying nonsense a sound thrashing Yes.
This response is as bad as Tim Hortons hockey league where no one keeps score
except the kids know who won don't they.

Good God think of what would happen if this were a fight filled hockey game.
People have gone nuts wherever they are. Scores of people have in fact
become Walmart people. What? Walmart people if you seen the pictures
you know what the look like but they are starting to behave as strange as they

I remember one Thanksgiving my HS Alma Mater beat the living tar out of their rival. It was a butt kicking. I forgot the score but pretty much every time they touched the ball they scored and they had two interceptions for TDs plus a punt return.

Boy they were teeing off on the Boxers on the radio and papers saying they ran up the score etc.
