As far as I'm concerned our friendship ended in the Second World War when German u-boats where allowed to fuel up at American ports when they new damn well they would be attacking us.

Dirty American scum.

Nope look up your facts it's even written on the exposition wall at our national capital war museum. Don't try to deny this one American scum.
I know it as a fact.

I spent 6 months building the exposition. Had time to read the whole thing.

Good Grief Angstrom knock it off. It's embarrassing.

 Before the USA entered the war, it's documented that German u-boats re-fuelled at American ports before attacking our shipments to Great Briton.
I'm not making this **** up RCS. It's. Fact... It's even stated in our Nation Capitals War Museum, I had the honour of working at during construction.

If this is not true. Someone better tell the museum to take that down lol.

I doubt that. FDR wanted to bring the US in on the Allied side for years. Fueling German subs would have violated neutrality law and FDR was much too canny for that. US DE's were helping the RCN escort convoys before war was declared using a dodgy political rationale because FDR was anti-Nazi. Sorry, I am not pro-American but I have a hard time believing that US subs fueled in the US between 1939-1943.

In a other spot in The museum it says. Canada was the second biggest weapons producing nation in the Second World War, second only to the USA. But that's only because the USA sold weapons to both sides. This is written right on the exposition wall. I'm not making this **** up m8.

Why would they write that in the nations capital war museum if it was not true?

You like many others suffer from, you only believe in the history that suits you

We are not a martial state and we do not stress our military past like America does. But we have a credible military past. We had approximately the same number of casualties as America in WW1, and fought from Day 1. The US army did not arrive in Europe until 1917, and did not fight as a whole national army until the last 100 days of the war in late 1918. By the end of WW2 we had the third-largest navy and third largest air force in the world.
