Sure it does... But pretending that there isn't a cost doesn't make your case.
Nothing comes for free. Nowhere did I say there isn't a price to be paid. But now we will save lives thereby increasing social productivity and that's how we recapture the investment we make in the program.
After all, everybody should have coverage just like those who work for the Fortune 500 companies whose medical insurance is subsidized by taxpayers.
I fully agree with you, Gopher, everything worth having (good health & ability to work) comes at a cost, just less cost than the alternative.
The US already spends the highest percentage of it's GDP on health care than anyone else, has the highest rates of cancer, mental health issues, heart disease diabetes and more.
If we are doing it for less, are healthier and are Socialized WTF is wrong with the US and it's privatized system?
