An EKOS poll done last month has Justin Trudeau still ahead of Thomas Mulcair and Stephen Harper in the approval rating of Canadians.

The survey of 2,900 people was conducted after the big scandal revealing links between over-spending Conservative senators and the prime minister's office hit the front pages.

Trudeau was in first place with an approval rating of 43%

Thomas Mulcair is in second place with 33%.

And Stephen Harper is still trails at 26%.

That adds up to 102% WTF?

Well, I'd give Mulcair about 2% and Harper about 4% and Trudeau about 5% and that adds up to 11%. -:)

Obama 'Trades within a narrow range' at 47 % approval...Gallup Daily: Obama Job Approval

The us is in slow recovery. But picking up steam..

Ties for highest world wide with Germany.
Germany Ties U.S. Again in Leadership Approval Ratings

Harper trades at 23% ...Conservative popularity sinks but Stephen Harper approval holds steady: poll | National Post

Trudeau leads in approval ratings - L'Express Ottawa - blogarticle and Trudeau Junior at 43 %

Ohhhhh... Trudeau's approval rating as per a blog!

Well, that's awfully convincing

The National Post is a Blog????? c'mon, TORRYGLORY, YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THAT:lol:

The only National Post article you linked was from December 2012.

The shiny pony story is from a July blog in the Ottawa Business Journal.

Your barry approval via Gallup was from June, while the 'world' stuff was back in March.

Protip #1: If one were sloppy or in a rush to just do a lazy google search on a topic, unless you specify, the results aren't always newest first. Best you use the 'search tools' button to narrow your results and freshen your stories see. Just sayin' hoss.

Protip #2: When you do find a story that suits your needs or bias, it is prudent to check the date of the article. Ya know, ya know what I mean?

Example:
Latest barry bs:

Obama Job Approval (Weekly)

p.s. We all know that voter approval (whether it's his shinyness, chinless steve or neckbeard thomas) is not the same as voter intention.

Have a happy day.

The polls have been ever so accurate on the Alberta and BC elections... Yep, those scienticians are a real credit to their industry

I would wager that the EKOS poll is more of a death warrant for baby-T than anything else.

I couldn't say it any better than Locutus.

... But thanks for the input all the same True Believer.

Ok I stand corrected, Sarge...
The common denominator , for the States, is the signs of a 'housekeeping second term'- Obama of course can't be re - elected. . His approval pattern looks like Fords, or Reagans, at aslightly lower level.

Which means that a strong Republican contender , like Cruz, can probably pull the party together for a new term.

A 'Mondale Republican' doesn't get in.

You are welcome. a good rule of Thumb is to take the EKOS poll and add 4-5 per cent for the incumbent.

But that is a matter for a 'Canadian Thread'. Starting one? Your turn...

You most certainly do stand corrected:smile:

Funny... All the pollsters got it wrong in the last 2 provincial elections, yet you still stick to your program.

Good luck on that and I guess that you stand a very strong chance of 'standing corrected' yet again

I s that your rather roundabout way of saying that you will not stoop to start a thread in the Canadian Politics sector?

No.

It' my way of telling you how wrong you were, and most likely, will be.

Hope that clears things up for ya

Mug wumping is not a pleasant sight, except to the mugwumper...

The jocular word mugwump, noted as early as 1832, is from Algonquian (Natick) mugquomp, "important person, kingpin" (from mugumquomp, "war leader")[1] implying that they were "sanctimonious" or "holier-than-thou,"[2] in holding themselves aloof from party politics. ( wiki)

Are we playing too rough for you?

hahaha.... Wasn't the Liberal party bankrupt (or damn close) not so long ago?

Hell, a few of their reps (present and/or former) still haven't paid their campaign debts. On top of that, they're playing second fiddle to the Dippers today.

Too funny - I'll bet that you have a make-shift shrine to the defunct Libs and baby-T somewhere in your place
