To me, this shooting indicates a bigger problem. How many other young, black, teenagers are capable of random murder for simple self-gratification? "We were bored so we decided to kill somebody". Did they all have guns? The argument for gun control has never been stronger.
Ah, so these guys were fifteen and sixteen year old armed criminals......same as the ones who shot the baby last month. Wonderful isn't it?
You seem to be reacting to what you perceive as a racial inequity but teenage gun crime in the U.S. is mostly black....or am I wrong?
If you keep those statistics, its called racial profiling. So officially you will never know the truth and any accusation can therefore be dismissed as anctidotal.

What I'm not sure I follow is your apparent logic that because black teen gun violence is more prevalent than white teen gun violence, we should ignore white teen gun violence.

Does that mean that if there was a disease that would occur in Blacks at a 2, 3, or 4 ratio to one over whites, you would never think of looking into the reason for such disparity?
No. I don't see you as a "stupid Yank". Your opinions are important. I'm just an ignorant Canadian who doesn't understand America's apparent love affair with gun posession or "the right to bear arms". When teenage gun crime is reported, it seems to always involve young black people....maybe that's just the reporting.
And some people's knee jerk reaction to some kids' allergy to nuts or other things would not only be to remove those from schools...but also ban them from stores and every household in the country:roll:
People who enjoy killing would never be satisfied with that - unless they get to kill their boss, gf and consider that act their hobby.

OK, I'll go with your solution. If a disease breaks out that affects blacks 3 times more than whites, I'll study the disease only in blacks and treat it only in blacks.
I think you know that if that fictitious disease was affecting a disproportional amount of a certain group... it would be a huge deal.
Yeah, just look at how hard they're working to come up with a hantavirus vaccine. Or a cure for sickle-cell.
