Justin Trudeau is a nice, polite boy, but that doesn't make him eligible to be Prime Minister of Canada. The women of the day made the same mistake with his old man.

Yep......... Chicks dig prohibition advocates!

My Alzheimers must be acting up, I'll check back. Stay tuned!

Nope, asked the question once, never got a defining answer! So far he's shown he can be polite, shake people's hands, smile and has mentioned legalizing pot. But if the electoral mentality accepts that then that's who we'll get for Prime Minister! I want to know his budgeting skills and his ability to follow a plan, his ability to recognize trivial requests and tell people to "f**K off", his ability to sell goods overseas for a fair dollar, his ability to work with other party leaders. Otherwise I may as well vote for the encyclopedia salesman! -:) P.S. you might want to go for an Alzheimers test.

Yeah, you've asked me TWICE, and I assume i'm not alone.

Justin Trudeau has: Successfully set up an entrepreneurial speakers business. Despite the Tory wordspittle, he only contracts with adults for SET fees - they now in advance what they are getting. Harpers' last entrepreneurial venture was ( gee, never did)

Justin Trudeau has never destroyed a segment of the Canadian Aerospace industry ( LAAS) at the request of GWB.
( Admittedly, SH and the Calgary Tory MP's didn't wreck it, they also didn't say boo when 185 skilled city careers went south)

Well, then he's the boy you should vote for! -:)

He loses me at legalization and control. There exists a plant that for the low low price of water and sunlight can ease my pain, recuperate my sleep, and calm the nerve storm that comes with my illness. The fact that the government wants to control and tax it, speaks volumes.

Decriminalize, let the chronically ill grow or buy from a pharmacist/dispensary, and educate kids on why their growing brains should wait to consume it.

What a convoluted, overcomplicated issue.

decriminalizing only would not give the government a revenue stream.

Freeing up the legal and policing costs that exist over it right now would be equivalent to a new revenue stream.

The fact of the matter is, it's either safe and people should have a right to use it, or it's not and it should remain illegal. Legalizing just for the sake of money is flawed, and unfair to the sick.

I resent having to deal by night with people with whom I wouldn't associate by day

As one friend who can't function without it said.... 'I hate knowing that my money is going to fund hard crime. Pot is not a crime. I smoke, and I can work. It's not a crime, it's keeping me off welfare.'

Alcohol nor cigs are safe and yet we legalize it.
You really gotta face reality sometimes,, money is money and it gives you the things you demand from your government !!

That has happened three times in the recent past. Some people have a propensity for lying and pollsters seem to have a propensity for not getting at the truth.-:) I wonder if it has anything to do with the smart people keeping their mouths shut! -:)

I still remember the days of the most hated politician in Canada.................W.A.C. Bennett..................nobody ever admitted voting for him, but he got re elected 4 or 5 times.
Nuts. I liked the old coot. Even worked for him as a teen for a while. Had the province running better than anyone since.

I haven't made up my mind on him either way. Attributes like smiling, shaking hands, engaging in friendly conversation are essential but like breathing, in themselves don't qualify you for Prime Ministership! We saw his old man for many years, so it's wise to remember the old adage, "the acorn don't fall far from the tree", BUT, there's another old adage...."there's an exception to every rule", so we simply don't know.

Alcohol is allowed to be made at home, just not spirits. And tobacco has no medicinal uses. So they are not fair comparisons.

And yes, I understand that government needs money to run, but I don't feel like handing mine over to them at every excuse. Keep your hand out of my pockets you filthy liberal.

This dumbo is not capable of making any intelligent statements on policies so he sticks to the simple ones like smoking.
Ask him who should have jurisdiction over the North Pole and he's completly lost!!

Yes, he certainly did and for one good reason, the old curmudgeon didn't spend money he didn't have! There was also a different attitude among the populace at the time. There wasn't the feeling of entitlement that is running rampant today.
