Try and keep up with the thread on this, m'kay?
I know it goes pretty fast here, but if you really dig down deep and apply yourself, you might not look the fool:lol::lol:![]()
Good advice, try following it.

Quite seriously, Justin Trudeau is a Quebecois dip****, of exactly the same type from which we have drawn FAR too many PMs.............and he lacks vision and intellect.
He ain't the new messiah.
Canada is moving on past Quebec.
Sorry.
You're really going to have to make up your mind. Either he is like his old man or he is a quebecois. Can't be both.
Ahhh....his old man was Quebecois.....his desire was to turn the entire nation into a larger Quebec.
Good advice, try following it.
So - how come no answer to the Vingt Deux comment (that'd be Van Doos in case you needed some clarification)
Is baby-T a UFC fighter?.. Serve in the Royal 22nd Regiment?

You already know the answer, so why ask the question? It was you that made the comment about the "French" and ever since you've been dancing and moving the goal posts.
You generalized and referred simply to the "French."
Just wanted to turn the knife a bit, and I am simply restating what has been said by many over the years.
Oh, and on that goal post thingy - seems to me that you are doing more of the dancing than anyone else
Yep, I sure did.
Regardless, it means very little in the grand scheme. All of the usual suspects get their panties all in a bunch when anyone takes a run at their Messiah and start casting the net as wide as possible to deflect from the core premise.
I kinda get a kick out of it

Really, last time I checked we lived in a democracy, if a region decides to leave they can take that province with them.. if Quebec can have special rights and leave, so can any other province in Canada.
"Brat of a punk kid" ???
Justin Trudeau is 41 years old not 21..........hardly a kid.......
Hmmmm/...
that means he could end up as Prime Minister of Canada for a solid three decades....![]()

I have the same position for Quebec as I do for Alberta. Anyone is free to leave. The real estate stays here.
The US is a democracy too. How did the Union react when Texas seceded from the US?

That's not going to happen..
Can Texas Secede from the Union? - YouTube
However in Canada, our laws are different and allow for a province to split if a majority of people in that province so desires.
The 3 provinces I can think of that are interested in leaving Canada would be Quebec, Alberta and Newfoundland (not sure why, but I have heard this)
Also, if Quebec where to leave Canada, there is a danger of civil war.
Not between Canada and Quebec initially but between Quebec and the native Canadians in northwest Quebec. These natives who permitted major hydroelectric projects on their territory want to remain in Canada.
Quebec wants to retain the hydro dams on separation. So when (if) Quebec leaves Canada, the natives might just leave Quebec, leading to a very nasty situation.
Also, large parts of the province of Quebec are Anglophone. They might want to secede and join Ontario, or form a new Canadian province.
Try again. PET was a federalist, plain and simple.
