Brazeau is an Algonquin from the Kitigan Zibi reserve near Maniwaki.

Seems to me that intelligence and current events aren't either one of your strong suits.

Care to try again?

He's Algonquin. Not French. You seem to be having a real problem differentiating between the 2. It is possible to live in "Quebec" and NOT be French. Plus, technically, the Reserve is NOT Quebec.

The nice thing about a democratic system is we don't have to put up or shut up.
Yes BC and Alberta will be part of Canada twenty years from now and so will
the Province of Quebec.
The reason most people from that Province don't want to leave and besides if we
got rid of them there would be no one left to fight with.
Trudeau actually stands a good chance of being elected, I don't like it bu I think he
has a chance. Harper has outlasted his welcome and his party is tired of one man
rule. Besides Canadian Conservatives are famous for infighting and gaffs and there
will be plenty as things heat up.

Harper is going to be all right (not that I like him very much). He has three years before he has to face an election. It would be stupid of him to do much about the Senate now, but if he does in two years and 9 months he'll come out smelling like a rose. For all Harper's many faults he's not stupid!

...and Justin Trudeau will have time to be better mentored from his daddy's pals.

THAT picture was taken at his father's funeral..

You live a shelter life and if you do go to Cuba, stay there for 6 months.. not as a tourist in the tourist areas.

I'm fed up with people that think what they see in a travel brochure is what a country is like..

Pierre Trudeau admired many tyrants leaders such as Castro and the leader of North Korea.

Can't stand Pierre Trudeau, I think he was a curse to Canada and Canadians and I don't think his brat of a punk kid falls far from the tree, with his ideas that Quebeckers are some how better and chosen to run Canada.

The Majority of seats are in Quebec and Ontario, but that is changing.. people are leaving the East and moving to Alberta and BC and slowly changing the balance of Canada's vote.

Well Boomer, there are 33 million possible opinions in Canada on the subject but judging by voter turnouts, the majority of Canadians either don't care about politics or are so fed up with the same old crap no matter who gets in that they don't think getting off the couch to vote is worth the effort. The far right and the far left are just opposite sides of the same crazy coin.... all farting in the wind.

Marquess of Queensbury rules or after last call in the alley rules?

Good one! I have no intention of taKing him on myself.

Based on Solon's :

Re definition:

Solon introduced the ideas of timokratia as a graded oligarchy in his Solonian Constitution for Athens in the early 6th century BCE. His was the first known deliberately implemented form of timocracy, allocating political rights and economic responsibility depending on membership of one of four tiers of the population. Solon defined these tiers by measuring how many bushels of produce each man could produce in a year, namely:
  • Pentacosiomedimni - "Men of the 500 bushel", those who produced 500 bushels of produce per year, could serve as generals in the army
Petros is the only errr "one' fit to be PM anyway....

Separatists are free to leave Canada. They just can't take any real estate with them

What did you really expect from 2 French fighters?

I'm just surprised that the fights wasn't relegated to slapping and hair-pulling.

Yeah, I'm sure you'd kick Georges St-Pierre's ***, tough guy.

They did elect his party five times while he was leader. Most of them to majorities. Granted he never actually got a majority of the vote, only a plurality but the same is true for almost every federal government. Clearly quite a few disagreed with you about him being a curse.

Also true that a lot of people are moving west. That doesnt necessarily mean they will change their political opinions to those of their new neighbours. Assuming they have any political opinions at all seeing as nearly half of the electorate doesnt bother to show up to vote at all.

There's a reason they are called surrender-monkeys

Sure if you're talking about the French in France. Thats why Quebec couldnt have cared less about what happened to France during both world wars.

The fighters and soldiers who have come from Quebec have a pretty good record.

Is baby-T a UFC fighter?.. Serve in the Royal 22nd Regiment?

Yeah, I thought not

The Bait-and-Switch master strikes again. Your original post...

What did you really expect from 2 French fighters?

Clearly, you are referring not a specific person here (Trudeau, Brazeau) but to ethnicity or culture. i.e. the French can't fight. To which I pointed out that one of the best MMA fighters on the planet, one of the recognized toughest dudes in the world is a Quebecois.

But don't let facts ruin a good argument. Carry on...

Really, last time I checked we lived in a democracy, if a region decides to leave they can take that province with them.. if Quebec can have special rights and leave, so can any other province in Canada.
