Thats hardly restricted to just aboriginals. There are quite a few who put their province before the country. I can kind of understand that but personally I'd consider whe whole to be more important than the individual parts. Id prefer a stronger federal government and weaker provincial ones, the trend has been going the other way on that for decades now though. If the provinces get too strong and the feds get too weak there wont be much to hold us together.

Ya, but then we would be just like Europe, a bunch of sovereign countries all jammed together on a large land mass in a loose association, a Canadian Union. We could share a common currency called the Canaloonie. Ah, we could have fun with that!

However, a U.S. government source said Iran is home to a little-known network of alleged al-Qaida fixers and “facilitators” based in the Iranian city of Zahedan, very close to Iran’s borders with both Pakistan and Afghanistan.
The source said the operatives serve as go-betweens, travel agents and financial intermediaries for al-Qaida operatives and cells operating in Pakistan and moving through the area.

They do not operate under the protection of the Iranian government, which has a generally hostile attitude towards Sunni al-Qaida militants, and which periodically launches crackdowns on the al-Qaida elements, though at other times appears to turn a blind eye to them.​

I lived and dealt with three of the men in my family being under the constant threat of terrorist attacks from damn white Christian zealots... hell yes I'd rat.

The right to remain silent. Pre-emptive arrest is a potential violation of a few rights. Just don't see the need to hand over those rights basedf on the infintessimal chance I'm going to get blown up by a terrorist. I just don't trust Toews. He's always got some law up his sleeve toi tak epower away from people and hand it to the state. Like the last business with the internet snooping and "Your either with us or with the pedophiles."

The problem does not come from throwing people out unless they have done something
to be thrown out. We already strip people of citizenship that lied about there past if they
are criminals. Not often used but it has been done.
My complaint is we don't do enough screening and there are those who come here that
are not interested in the betterment of Canada. Others are outright criminals. There are
those who come to get citizenship then return to the land of origin with Canadian passports.
I am not speaking even of one particular group there are people from all over that have
made their way here who should not be here.
It should also be pointed out in this case the Muslim Community made the first contact to
have these people investigated. Not all Muslims are the problem when it comes to the
problems we face. It is not Muslims we should be after its terrorists we should be concerned
about.
