Actually that was pretty much accepted by right wing Evangelical Christians right up until recently. Catholics were not considered Christian and in fact some churches taught that the pope was the anti-Christ. Of course us Catholics were taught they were all going to hell for that anyway.
Wasn't me that said it. I am just relaying what catholics say.
I did. It looks like it was written by evangelicals trying to convert Catholics. It cherry picked what it considered the negative side in favour of their fairy tale version.Didn't read it, did ya.
I did. It says Christianity and Catholicism are different. Did you read it?Didn't read it, did ya.
Cherry picking Huh?:smile:I did. It says Christianity and Catholicism are different. Did you read it?
Just one man's view........What did I cherry pick?
So? Is it erroneous? I think differences exist between Christianity and Catholicism because there are differences.Just one man's view........
Try looking at the whole picture.....

meh nitpicking. Either there are significant differences or there aren't.It's not what Catholics say. It's what some evangelicals say. As a matter of fact, there has been at least one "christian" on here that has stated that Catholics are not Christian.
So, for you to say that you were just relaying what CATHOLICS say, it's pretty obvious to me that you didn't read your own link.

You think I should care?nitpicking....I see..... so when I attribute some bullshyte comment that eao made to you it'll be no big deal.
You think I should care?
Anyway, so there are no differences between Catholicism and Christianity? Is Roman Catholicism Christian? | Are Catholics Christians? | Christian Apologetics and Research Ministry

Which was the point of my original post in this thread......only an atheist will study something they don't give a shyte about....Apparently, you care enough to research links on the matter and defend a position.

So can you.So say they....... they can believe what they will.
I don't.If you believe
Christ was born, Christ has died, Christ will come again........
Christ was born to atone for mankinds sins. He was God incarnate. Come to earth as flesh and blood, he died on the cross so that mankind would live. On the 3rd day he rose , ascended into heaven. He will come again.
Your opinion. Mine is that I see significant differences in what Catholics believe and what Christians believe. These are the basic tenets of the Christian faith. Catholics believe these and are therefore Christian.
So? That doesn't mean I care if you mix up what EAO or I say.Apparently, you care enough to research links on the matter and defend a position.
lol Religions and people in those religions concern me because they impact my life in a few ways. I don't care about the gods and goblins these people believe in.Which was the point of my original post in this thread......only an atheist will study something they don't give a shyte about....
Losing? Desperate? Your opinion. BTW, I spend time having fun here.Let alone spend all that time desperately trying to argue a losing point.
