IT WAS A MOVIE!

It was a movie. Thanks. You will be hard to fool when the unmovies come to the big screen. It was hugely panned as a common American Bull**** Movie. A simple movie does not set out to misinform but propaganda movies certainly do. What were they selling Americans this time? In the future you should try to qualify your observations with some relevant detail. It won an Oscar therefore it sucked big time. It will be used as evidence in hate crimes trials.

This event was a proud moment for Canadians. This movie takes that moment away.

Make a movie then!

Wow... it REALLY takes the moment away? Argo really takes the moment away? Good grief... it's worse than I thought.

Maybe this will help.

Here...

It was a movie.

Yes... you win a cookie

You're welcome.

You will be hard to fool when the unmovies come to the big screen.

Ummm... unmovies? lmao

It was hugely panned as a common American Bull**** Movie.

lmao.... wtf?

A simple movie does not set out to misinform but propaganda movies certainly do. What were they selling Americans this time?

Popcorn? Slurpees? A fun night out?

In the future you should try to qualify your observations with some relevant detail.

Will you start making sense?

It won an Oscar therefore it sucked big time.

You mad!

It will be used as evidence in hate crimes trials.

This is why it is so much fun.

You're kidding right? Seriously? Do you really think Tarentino's movie was a real depiction.

I guess I should be the first to tell you.

Tarentino isn't REALLY a vampire
You'll have to excuse EAO, he believes everything Pallywood puts out too.

Wow... it REALLY takes the moment away? Argo really takes the moment away? Good grief... it's worse than I thought.
It is for sure.

It's a common problem with Canadians that don't really know how great Canada is.

They just parrot "Canada is great" like a hipster mantra, then go Google all they can to back it up, when pressed for it or trying to put down Americans.

Some of the Canadians at this site are the most silliest nationalists I've ever read.

I don't know why. I think they are great. I wouldn't be on a Canadian forum if I didn't.

However some feel they have to put other's down to feel good and create myths. I will be here when that happens when possible.

I do notice that you never miss a chance to pat es on the back even when he has made erroneous statements concerning Canada's contributions during war time.

However some feel they have to put other's down to feel good and create myths.

That is YOUR biggest contribution.

I know that. But your nationality or native home isn't something that irrationally bunches my boxers either.

What do you expect from nationalists?

They don't get, or they don't like patriotism, but man oh man do they do nationalism like a pro.

I will be here when that happens when possible.
Pfft, not hard, it happens every day here.

It's not as if I hide it.

His knowledge of military history is as sound as Colpy's and Colpy's is above par.

He's also a brother in arms, so I just dig him in general.

Besides that, I hear he's a hunk.

... even when he has made erroneous statements concerning Canada's contributions during war time.
I've never seen that.

I have seen him make some pretty antagonizing statements though, just to ruffle the usual anti American's and Canadian nationalists, feathers.

I don't blame him. He takes a lot heat for just being a Yankee.

Why don't we review the several thousand put down posts you have created here at triple C.
Hypocrite.

already have and you, true to form, ignored the post.

You wouldn't by chance be talking about me not attacking a post that is accurate would you?

That would not be "ignoring" Gerry.

Are you catching on? You can't be that slow. Where is that good Canadian education you keep blabbing about?

Yes, the one where I corrected your "VAST" knowledge of military history concerning Canada's contribution. The post you chose to ignore rather than acknowledge that you were mistaken.

I wouldn't pretend to speak for Gerry, but I think he is refering to this statement.....
You have the most idiotic posts. The US was engaged from 1941-1945

You weren't doing crap to ward off the Nazis. Canadian forces weren't engaged until 1942. No heavy lifting at all. Read a book.

Read this and WEEP!

http://www.canadaatwar.ca/battles/world-war-ii/

The word "engaged" may have an entirely different meaning to a soldier than to a civilian, when Canada declared war in 1939.

Yes, that was the post, and we were fu cking "engaged" the moment our ships set sail on convoy duty. That was 6 days after Canada declared war. Not 3 fu cking years later like the american with the "solid" military knowledge stated.

You're both right, depending on your perspective, as DaS pointed out. Even though I actually disagree with ES in this instance.

Add to that ES's love for ruffling the nationalists feathers, and you have a funny thread to read.

I stopped bitching at ES in PM's long ago, once he explained his goals.
