It's been a while since I visited this thread which happens to be one of my faves.
Tonight, dinner was Italian-Greek meat phyllo pastry:
2 sheets of phyllo
2 slices of Calabrese salami
1 thick slice of sharp Cheddar cheese
1 slice of tomato
1 slice of red onion
Wrap up all the ingredients in the phyllo and cook over hot olive oil until crisp brown (turn them over at least twice) - you add add any form of spice or Italian salad dressing for added flavor but I chose not to do so tonight. When completed it will look like this:
I made three of these and they were delicious!
