It doesn't work from one direction. One person can't hold a marriage together. Most people in his position would have slinked off in the face of the hard work required to hold their marriage together.

I know eh. lol

That's why I challenged you when you give Bubba such high singular praise. Even still, Hillary would have been the one to forgive and accept his flaws and apology. He wasn't going anywhere man, he was the prez. He had the fancy rooms, xmas cards family portraits and public photo ops...she let him back in the bedroom, back in the kitchen.

He was and is a pervy schmuck with a loving understanding wife.

Doctrinaire ideologues have no shame. No understanding or sense of proportion either. Not even much real knowledge. They're just so sure they're right they don't need any of that.

Mrs. Clinton is only in it for the power and money.

Just found out the same group gave the father of the year award to John Edwards in 2011. Like I said, the left has no shame.

There's a difference between a father and a husband. He definitely should not win the latter, as for the former, who knows. He seems to have done a number of good things. Sure, he screwed around on his wife but if she can get over it everyone else should too.

Let's face it... they are doing it because they have a love affair with Bill. They would supplant the best father in the world to hob knob with the guy.

I can remember when Dual Air bags became a law and some Auto Parts shop had a photo of Bill and Hillary right next to their After Market parts ad for this kit. It got a lot of attention too.

The general public likes Bill and they always will. Bill Clinton was the guy who ended up with
a surplus that Bush shot at Iraq.
Clinton made America feel good about itself Bush and the Tea Party are about small minded
politics and nit picking. I am not saying all Republicans are engaging in that endeavour but a
lot are and they are dividing their country. Actually if you see behind the curtain the real trouble
makers are people like Donald Trump with silly statements and actions. People perception of
the Republicans is diminished every time these people come on TV or radio.

The wonderful thing you may be right, because long ago the left forgave Richard Nixon for his
criminal actions while in the White House and they let him pass into history with his reputation
restored for the public record. I guess the right which claims to hold the high ground in this sort
of thing, is not so forgiving.
Bill Clinton is viewed as a success and those who have had their ambitions stifled by him are
jealous and angry. Bill is loved by the people in general especially all those urban minority
voters who now hold the advantage. Of course they are going to praise him. Those on the other
side can only hold up the face of George Bush, Romney, and some folks who spoke without thinking.

Where in the article does it say the 'Father's Day Council' is open to only left-wing membership? For all we know it could be full of right-wing radicals or conservative christians. Just because Slick Willy was a democrat does not mean he is only respected by democrats.

I agree with you on this WLDB. I do believe there are crappy husbands who are wonderful fathers; it all depends on perspective. I don't know what kind of father Bill was to Chelsea, so I can't comment much, except to say that his daughter definitely was given tools to prosper and succeed... which should be the ultimate goal of all of us who raise children. Personally I view love as being an essential ingredient in that mix, but really Chelsea Clinton is the only one who can truly comment on that.

As for some of the criticisms about Clinton, well, he was a politician. He did some good things, some stupid things and took advantage of any opportunity to look good... like every other professional politician from any party. He shouldn't have used his position to take advantage of Lewinsky and others, but as far as lying under oath, Kenneth Starr was so far afield in his witch hunt, that Clinton should have told him to get f***ed instead of lying to him.

And no, Ronnie "I don't remember" Reagan was no saint either.
