- I can't return the favour and take you seriously because anyone who made the remarks you just made is either a gullible and ill informed idiot of the sort Obama got out to vote for him and/or is on the Obama/public sector payroll.
Wow, that's a ton of assumptions in just one sentence, Teddy. What remark? If you mean the troll one, the majority of people here believe you are just that and I was responding to them. The actual questions WERE legitimate in an attempt to give you a benefit of the doubt and see you actually EXPLAIN yourself instead of just linking things that share your opinion. I wanted to know why YOU thought the way you did. Secondly, were I able to vote in the US, yes I admit fully I would have voted for Obama but not because I would be "ill informed" or an "idiot" or I was "gullible". But then again, that might have changed since were I in the US, I would not be me so I might have voted elsewise as well.
Sorry but the vitriol you keep posting about the man kind'a shows otherwise.
...but I do know that he was the most unqualified person in modern history to win the presidency and that he has been an unmitigated disaster as president, that he and his gang of Chicago mugs, thugs and slugs
This is what I mean.
... ran a disgusting and duplicitous re-election campaign and, that he will further weaken the US economy over the next four years and that we in Canada will feel some of the resulting pain.
This might happen, I totally agree with you. Right now it's a wait and see but if it does, we'll feel the burn of it no doubt.
But I'm glad you find him entertaining on Leno and Letterman or whatever it is you see in him.
Don't have TV, avoid watching online tv shows as well. I read. I actually read centrist stuff - stuff that takes BOTH sides, Republicans and Democrats - to task for their BS and not just one side or the other. If I happen TO read something that is more one side than the other, then I take what they opinion or report on with a grain of biased salt.
- Do try to read the following column all by yourself, leaving your left wing biases at the door, and reading slowly and carefully using your lips and fingers as needed.
First, I'm not left wing. I'm not right wing, either. I have no particular party affiliation whether it's US or Canadian politics.
Second, your sarcasm is appreciated only somewhat. I'll give it to you because I'm a) nice and b) consider it a touche response for the troll comment. That said, I'll read your link, see what it says and I'll go from there.
See, this is what makes me vastly different from you Teddy. As much as I could dismiss your bias against Obama and your denied hate of the man, I'll STILL give you the benefit of the doubt that you could be right as you claim. Note though I don't believe any politician is pure, nor do I think they're all honest and good, even Obama. Do I like some of his policies? Yes. Do I like them all? Hell no. Do I think he screwed up a lot? Definitely. Could he do better? I bloody hope so. But I also admit the man HAS had things stacked against him by those opposing him, which they admit themselves. But now that he has his "mandate of the people", if he DOES fail this second term, he has no one to blame but himself, and I hope history records it as such.
