The euphemism for these idiot voters who cancel out the votes of informed voters is "low information voters". Mind you, given that the Chicago mugs, thugs and slugs who ran Obama's campaign ran the most dishonest, divisive, disgusting campaign of disinformation in the modern era of presidential campaigns,

So, to take you serious a moment, Teddy...

Why is it you think this? I think, during the campaign, while both candidates did tell their falsehoods, Romney was proven to tell them a hack of a lot more than Obama. With that said, the claim that Obama ran the most dishonest etc campaign in the modern era would then be false.

Why do you hate Obama so much?

Yes, I know, don't feed the trolls... can't help it sometimes though, they're just so darn cute.:p

The didn't tell falsehoods they rearranged the truth a bit some of what was said
was unvarnished truth. Obama looked like a President and poor Romney looked
like a zoo keeper trying to keep various factions from putting their foot in their
mouth The people on the rabid right destroyed Romney and people were too
embarrassed to support such a silly group.
Besides the Republicans wanted to be over the top conservatives. The people
voted for medicare, for old age security and other benefit programs.
The worst thing that got out was Romney saying that forty seven percent of the
people he wasn't going to represent. Did he really say that? It does not matter,
the people listening to and watching the video interpreted it to mean that and
from then on it was uphill for the Republican Candidate.
The second biggest thing, the aftermath of the first debate Republicans believed
they had Obama on the run. Not true. Obama knew he had the populated areas
where the vote counted and in debate two Obama came right back and that was
the end for Romney.
People who just rant about Obama because they didn't have a winner leave the
average Joe with the opinion that they did the right thing. You don't hear Romney
going about attacking Obama at every turn and that is because he knows better.
If you are a serious Republican fix the problem in the Party, and lean more to the
left. Why? Because people want their old age security, and other programs and
it you don't support them you won't get the vote you need. I guess it would be a
lot easier just to become a Democrat then you wouldn't have all that work to do.

- I can't return the favour and take you seriously because anyone who made the remarks you just made is either a gullible and ill informed idiot of the sort Obama got out to vote for him and/or is on the Obama/public sector payroll.

- I don't hate Obama but I do know that he was the most unqualified person in modern history to win the presidency and that he has been an unmitigated disaster as president, that he and his gang of Chicago mugs, thugs and slugs ran a disgusting and duplicitous re-election campaign and, that he will further weaken the US economy over the next four years and that we in Canada will feel some of the resulting pain. But I'm glad you find him entertaining on Leno and Letterman or whatever it is you see in him.

- Do try to read the following column all by yourself, leaving your left wing biases at the door, and reading slowly and carefully using your lips and fingers as needed.

Teddy just can't accept that instead of being servants a black man runs the white house.

- You know when you are too lazy, stupid and uninformed to argue the issues on their inherent merits and instead resort to bogus attacks on me you can be a real piece of human excrement.

- The problem with you playing the race card on me is that I was part of a ten person team of Canadian management consultants who went to Nigeria for a year in the late 70s to advise the Nigerian federal government on personnel management systems and policies. At the end of the year, the Nigerians selected one of us to remain for a further eight months (longer if we wanted to) to give five day seminars to senior officials in the states' capitals concerning the new personnel systems and policiies. The person they choose for this extra assignment was me and among the many reasons they chose me is that I don't have a racist bone in my body.

- But keep on with the smear campaign anyway, just like your idol Obama did with Romney, because it says a lot more about you than it does about me.

- Oh, for the numerous lefty loons who hang on my every post here, I'm out for the evening. Get a life.

\the sad fact is you attack someone else because they are not arguing on the merritt
of the subject. Most of the time you don't argue on that either instead you attack
people on the left or even if they just don't agree with you. I have wondered about
why you hate Obama so much, he is not left at all, he is in fact a Conservative by
Canadian standards. I like the Federal Conservatives in Canada and I also like the
NDP both provide an argument for their positions. I don't hate one or the other I do
disagree with both from time to time however.
I don't foam at the mouth in dislike for people either. It is too bad that for some reason
you cloud your position with venom and absolute dislike for Obama.
This man has cleaned up some of the mess that Bush created but he has made his own
mistakes along the way. I say that in view of the fact that I don't agree with everything
he has done. I would have voted for him if I were American though and here is why.
Every prominent person aside from Romney, attacked the opposition with really silly and
worn positions. The legitimate rape, the antics of Anne Coulter and Rush for example,
just turn me off they are more about insults that policy positions. I always question why
people are hurling insults instead of talking about how to make things better. The reason
is they had no alternatives to make things better for the Middle Class, the poor, the
minorities, and senior citizens. The real problem for the Republicans is they all came out
to vote for a continuation of Obama's policies. The white Middle and upper class voters
used to control the agenda, they don't anymore and that is a problems for Republicans.
Instead of insulting people and the people who voted for Obama why wouldn't you want
to address their concerns? I suppose its about using the brain and then the mouth,
instead of just the mouth.
What Kennedy said some fifty years ago is still the case.
Oh for the convenience of opinion without the discomfort of thought

Your problem communicating your message is the image you portray, if people think you
might be a racist for example might be because you gave them that impression and that
is one example.

What ever happened to respect for the voters? America whines forever that not enough people
come out to vote in an election. That is especially true of the Republican Party as I recall. All
of a sudden millions more came out to vote. We know that because many did not come out to
vote for Obama again, even though he lost nearly a million voters it was estimated he found a
million more to take their place. In other words Republicans got their wish more came out to
vote the problem is they came out to vote for their pensions, their medicare and other so called
entitlements. The Republicans could have offered those same things they didn't they offered a
whole different concept and in so doing the voters didn't like their platform.
I agree the Republicans owned the rural vote and the Democrats didn't waste their time going
after them. The difference is Romney made the statement, we won't bother with the forty seven
percent that don't vote for us. Democrats were silent about that and offended no one
Even if I were a Republican I would be concerned when the main candidate for my party said he
would only work with half the people. That is really what he said
Nope the people are the judge and you have to accept the decision of the people.

I have read Richard Stengels post on why he (they) picked Obama and it must be a different one than Rush heard.......

In a blog post, Time managing editor Richard Stengel explains that Obama was chosen because he is a cultural figure as well as a political one:

The Choice: TIME’s Person of the Year | TIME.com

As a side note.............

Misinformer Of The Year: Rush Limbaugh

You didn't post any issues to argue about. All you do is spew hatred at a black man because he is living in the white house which your bigoted little pea brain cannot accept. From what I've seen of your posts you do not have the mental capacity necessary to have an intelligent discussion.

Then why do you continuously do it? Is it because you are too damn lazy, stupid and uninformed? From the looks of this last thread, I would say a definite yes. Relying on the likes of rush to get your information shows just how lazy you have gotten in your old age.

Wow, that's a ton of assumptions in just one sentence, Teddy. What remark? If you mean the troll one, the majority of people here believe you are just that and I was responding to them. The actual questions WERE legitimate in an attempt to give you a benefit of the doubt and see you actually EXPLAIN yourself instead of just linking things that share your opinion. I wanted to know why YOU thought the way you did. Secondly, were I able to vote in the US, yes I admit fully I would have voted for Obama but not because I would be "ill informed" or an "idiot" or I was "gullible". But then again, that might have changed since were I in the US, I would not be me so I might have voted elsewise as well.

- I don't hate Obama

Sorry but the vitriol you keep posting about the man kind'a shows otherwise.

...but I do know that he was the most unqualified person in modern history to win the presidency and that he has been an unmitigated disaster as president, that he and his gang of Chicago mugs, thugs and slugs

This is what I mean.

... ran a disgusting and duplicitous re-election campaign and, that he will further weaken the US economy over the next four years and that we in Canada will feel some of the resulting pain.

This might happen, I totally agree with you. Right now it's a wait and see but if it does, we'll feel the burn of it no doubt.

But I'm glad you find him entertaining on Leno and Letterman or whatever it is you see in him.

Don't have TV, avoid watching online tv shows as well. I read. I actually read centrist stuff - stuff that takes BOTH sides, Republicans and Democrats - to task for their BS and not just one side or the other. If I happen TO read something that is more one side than the other, then I take what they opinion or report on with a grain of biased salt.

- Do try to read the following column all by yourself, leaving your left wing biases at the door, and reading slowly and carefully using your lips and fingers as needed.

First, I'm not left wing. I'm not right wing, either. I have no particular party affiliation whether it's US or Canadian politics.

Second, your sarcasm is appreciated only somewhat. I'll give it to you because I'm a) nice and b) consider it a touche response for the troll comment. That said, I'll read your link, see what it says and I'll go from there.

See, this is what makes me vastly different from you Teddy. As much as I could dismiss your bias against Obama and your denied hate of the man, I'll STILL give you the benefit of the doubt that you could be right as you claim. Note though I don't believe any politician is pure, nor do I think they're all honest and good, even Obama. Do I like some of his policies? Yes. Do I like them all? Hell no. Do I think he screwed up a lot? Definitely. Could he do better? I bloody hope so. But I also admit the man HAS had things stacked against him by those opposing him, which they admit themselves. But now that he has his "mandate of the people", if he DOES fail this second term, he has no one to blame but himself, and I hope history records it as such.

By the way, Teddy, you should have used "It's" not "Its".

For a small stipend, I will tutor you in grammar.

I think once he learned to spell "Mensa", he didn't think any other words were important!

Power structures in every society are by definition conservative elements. Those who have historically benefited because of clan, class, sex, or race resist change that threatens privilege. In the United States, power before and certainly after the Revolution has resided in white, mainly Anglo Saxon, or at worst Western European, male hands. Blacks, Hispanics, and other minorites have been under classes. The election of Barack Obama has struck fear that this "natural order" has been not only disrupted but has been wrested away through illegitimate means. The cry is "Take America back!"

The problem, as those who cry havoc see it, is not because Obama is too liberal. In fact, as others posters have pointed out, Obama is by nature conservative. The problem is more visceral; the problem for them is race.

- Serryah ... I appreciate the more measured tone of your response here and had you adopted the same tone in your initial post then so too would I.

- I'm not going to respond at length to your post simply because I have had more than enough of the verbal gang banging on the part of the moronic (low information and high trougher entitlement) left wing cabal of cowardly f$cks who have decided to label me as racist because I have offered up fact based criticisms of Obama and so I am calling it a day here. You can read my post in this regard on the thread titled Quit Picking on Obama and you probably should.

- But I shall respond to this one comment you make about having no TV and avoiding watching online TV shows. Since close to two billion was spent on the TV commercials of the two presidential candidates and the campaign was fought primarily on TV and through these commercials, you obviously cannot really make an intelligent informed fact based comment on who ran the dirtiest campaign. Yet this did not slow you down a nonosecond in jumping on me for claiming Obama had the dirtiest campaign nor did it restrain you from siding with Obama and stating that Romney had the most dishonest and dirty campaign.

- In other words, Serryan, you have been brain washed by your left wing pals in person and/or in whatever internet or other media from which you do get your information. Maybe you should try to gather a more balanced array of news and analysis before automaticvally going to the default left wing positon on issues about which you have no direct knowledge at all such as this one.

- Anyhow, the loony left wins again because I am not a racist and will not participate in a forum in which numerous posters eagerly jump on me with this disgusting smear and nobody bothers to defend me in that regard.
