Sea ice you say....

Interesting how there is +0.270 (100,00Km sq) increase in Antarctic (static magnet pole) mean over 30 some years Vs. the Arctic (shifting magnetic pole) showing decreases in the mean of -1.157 (100,00Km sq).

Coinkywang?

No, just wrong. The South Magnetic pole is moving...
Wandering of the Geomagnetic poles | ngdc.noaa.gov

So they're both moving, and sea ice isn't behaving the same. Not a coincidence, and not convenient for your alleged links to climate change that don't even have a causal mechanism to attempt to predict system behavior.

In other words, no hypothesis.

Cryosphere Today doesn't have a global sea ice volume dataset. The University of Washington has the PIOMAS to cover the Arctic, but nobody has created a database or system yet to track Southern Hemisphere sea ice thickness.

And at the end of the year, we have a new record low for the global sea ice area maximum:

Hmm, three weeks old now too, and nary a mention from the Goddard/WUWT crowd.

Shocking!

Jinkies! He's outgraphing us again!

Yeah well.... he's got LOTS of squiggley lines and some have been colored.

I'm still giggling over the last link he gave me and this LAME *** excuse....

Variables in geomagnetism alter jet streams and ocean currents which is a hard fact and one magnetic pole is clipping along at an alarming rate compared to the other but apparently there is no link although he provides oodles of graphs that show the changes in ocean currents, ocean temps, jet stream changes and atmospheric temp changes that aren't uniform from from pole to.

The magnetic poles move independant of each other and he's baffled why sea ice isn't behaving the same from pole to pole?

Maybe if I compiled a graph the obvious would be apparent or would the arrogance keep blinding him?

small dead animals: "The microphone was just in front of me."

I have been a bad boy. At the U.N. climate conference in Doha, I addressed a plenary session of national negotiating delegates though only accredited as an observer.

One just couldn’t resist. There they all were, earnestly outbidding each other to demand that the West should keep them in pampered luxury for the rest of their indolent lives, and all on the pretext of preventing global warming that has now become embarrassingly notorious for its long absence.

No one was allowed to give the alternative – and scientifically correct – viewpoint. The U.N.’s wall of silence was rigidly in place.
The microphone was just in front of me. All I had to do was press the button. I pressed it. The Chair recognized Myanmar (Burmese for Burma). I was on.

On behalf of the Asian Coastal Co-operation Initiative, an outfit I had thought up on the spur of the moment (it sounded just like one of the many dubious taxpayer-funded propaganda groups at the conference), I spoke for less than a minute.

Quietly, politely, authoritatively, I told the delegates three inconvenient truths they would not hear from anyone else:

• There has been no global warming for 16 of the 18 years of these wearisome, self-congratulatory yadayadathons.

• It is at least ten times more cost-effective to see how much global warming happens and then adapt in a focused way to what little harm it may cause than to spend a single red cent futilely attempting to mitigate it today.

• An independent scientific enquiry should establish whether the U.N.’s climate conferences are still heading in the right direction.

As I delivered the last of my three points, there were keening shrieks of rage from the delegates. They had not heard any of this before. They could not believe it. Outrage! Silence him! Free speech? No! This is the U.N.! Gettimoff! Eeeeeeeeeagh!

That's what it is all about.

The planets magnetic field is changing, we need to act now, a global magnetic tax must be levied, it's for the children. Please everyone must try to dampen their magnetic footprint. All fridge magnets must be destroyed.

The Sound Of Settled Science

Via WUWT: IPCC AR5 draft leaked, contains game-changing admission of enhanced solar forcing
I participated in “expert review” of the Second Order Draft of AR5 (the next IPCC report), Working Group 1 (“The Scientific Basis”), and am now making the full draft available to the public. I believe that the leaking of this draft is entirely legal, that the taxpayer funded report report is properly in the public domain under the Freedom of Information Act, and that making it available to the public is in any case protected by established legal and ethical standards, but web hosting companies are not in the business of making such determinations so interested readers are encouraged to please download copies of the report for further dissemination in case this content is removed as a possible terms-of-service violation. My reasons for leaking the report are explained below. Here are the chapters...
The real IPCC bombshell...

Because we're fair and balanced: IPCC statement on leak.

IPCC AR5 draft leaked, contains game-changing admission of enhanced solar forcing – as well as a lack of warming to match model projections, and reversal on ‘extreme weather’

WUWT dumbos think this is a game changing admission of solar forcing?
There is very high confidence that natural forcing is a small fraction of the anthropogenic forcing. In particular, over the past three decades (since 1980), robust evidence from satellite observations of the TSI [total solar irradiance] and volcanic aerosols demonstrate a near-zero (–0.04 W m–2) change in the natural forcing compared to the anthropogenic AF increase of ~1.0 ± 0.3 W m–2.
Derpy science failures are derpy. Rawls is claiming that the climate is responding decades later, but the mechanism he's talking about is GCR mediated cloud formation amplifying solar warming from over 60 years ago. The climate link for GCR is cloud formation, which generally have a cooling effect, though it depends on how high they are in the atmosphere. But, clouds don't last for decades, they respond on time scales of days. And radiation from the sun doesn't just sit in the atmosphere for 60 years...

No end to the funny from the brainless WUWT collective.

RADICAL ENVIRONMENTALISTS POST ASSASSINATION HIT LIST.

“In fact, the newsletter conveniently provides the names, addresses and phone numbers of the assassination targets.” UPDATE: Reader Warren Bonesteel writes: “The ‘narrative’ is about making it socially acceptable to start killing Republicans and conservatives. This type of ‘narrative’ is always a precursor to such events, historically speaking.” We do seem to be hearing a lot of eliminationist rhetoric lately.
