Hey, Justin, Harper is Alberta!!
Criticize one, you criticize both!!
Looked at Provincial (Fed.) color map recently ???

Harper is a plastic fu ckwad. A moron that I have refused to vote for in 2 elections. Unfortunately, there are more idiots in my riding than persons of intelligence and he has been elected.

STFU with your anti-Israel B.S.

Anti Israel is the new fad sweeping the old ball, you STFU with your anti anti Israel BS. Both Harper and the Retard Baird have promised Israel Canadian blood, so you watch your pie hole pin head.

This really only exemplifies that we have no alternative to the Conservative Party, which thanks to this wanna be child king and the inept arrogance of the Liberal Party thinking that a Rock Star instead of substance will redeem them, is bad for Canada.

Justin Trudeau looks more human than our Prime Minister Stephen Harper or even the NDP leader Thomas Mulcair both look like tired worn out politicians who are ready for the rubber room at the nut house.

Justin is young and has fresh ideas and is not afraid of making his views known like calling a Conservative MP “A piece of sh!t” in the House Of Commons.

Justin’s only downfall is he is young and inexperienced as a leader and has a habit of speaking before thought as opposed to after thought which lands him in hot water.

Justin can only ride so long on his father’s coat tails he will have to jump off and prove himself.

So far no one has stepped forward that has any real chance to be an effective leader of the federal Liberals so Justin might be it.

One advantage of a major political party being in last place after falling from grace is their rise to the top will be easier.

NDP leader Thomas Mulcair is no Jack Layton so Justin will be able to convert the Quebec NDP ridings into Liberal ones.

The Conservative propaganda machine has already launched an attack ad against Justin for his negative comment against Alberta and vote rich east still remembers Alberta’s “Let them freeze in the dark” comment.

The federal Liberal leadership convention is happening in January so we will have to wait to see if the Conservatives have to worry about a short lived government or not.

We now have an alternative. Vote for Justin Trudeau's Liberal Party.

That's who I voted for.

You're right, but then again, a vote for any conservative candidate would not be considered a "wise" vote.
Not necessarily. That would depend on whether the specific member ran on policies I agreed with or not.

Quite frankly there hasn't been a candidate for any party in my riding that had a platform I fully agreed with.

So I had to choose the one that managed put forward ideas that I didn't think would make Canada worse to live in.

To be honest, their are somethings that Justin has said that I agree with, but unfortunately, he stands for things I simply see as be detrimental to the nation as a whole.

Little Trudea is more about show and ego I doubt he has really any unifying qualities to lead a party or a country.
Mind you , that sounds a bit like what we have now with the current PM no?

Good morning Gerry. What changes would the Liberals make that would be an improvement over Mr. Harper?

They aren't Harper and his conservatives. They aren't american *** kissers.

BTW I think Can Con should have a seperate political thread , for politicians , because it seems politics is forgotten when the subject comes up.

One of Pierre Trudeau's saving graces was that he did not pander to these petty provincial potentates who think they run the country.

Any Canadian worth the name holds his patriotism for Canada as a whole, and supports a strong federalist structure to the country as well as economic and cultural nationalism.

I have little time for these separatist morons, whether they come from Quebec or Alberta or wherever. Pierre had a good description of them.. weaklings, pygmies.. incapable of understanding the great vision of the country framed by its founders.

This seems like more of an indication that a comprehensive conception for the country is not an inherited genetic attribute.. at least for Justin.

The great vision of the country's founders was to steal all they could from the west to sell to the electorate in Ontario and Quebec. Some things never change.

Excellent post.

Often it is more like picking the least worst.

As opposed to the corrupt Quebec *** kissers in the LPC?

You're absolutely right, it's always that way. While I can understand the draw and appeal of a specific parties overall policy for many people, I'm still stunned that so many do not seem to understand that it all comes down to that simple choice in the end. Not that the choices in and of themselves are necessarily simple, but it certainly is a lot more reasonable than blind faith in any politician based on nothing more than their party.
