I don't find Tim's good enough coffee to drink black either Ron. Not in their stores anyway. Tim's coarse grind coffee is however our bush coffee of choice for the campfire. Largely by default because just about everyone else stopped making coarse grind, but, we still enjoy it. and it's better than in their shops, dunno why

To me, the first sign of an excellent cafe is when I walk in and ask for, "A coffee, please," and am I served one without further questions. Then you know that they have some idea what a coffee is supposed to be.

I walked up to a coffee counter I was unfamiliar with, in a city I was unfamiliar with, took one look at the ridiculous list of coffee types and size names and just gave up. I walked up to the guy and said 'I'll take your biggest cup of your darkest roast coffee, black please.' And he just about couldn't stop laughing. He said I'd absolutely made his day with my refusal to bow to the menu gobbeldygook. lol.
You'd need to ask those 7% I'd assume. But to the best of my knowledge they have to substantiate a need before they are allowed to advertise for out of country workers.
Well, when one has coffee from a barista it's going to be hard to find any coffee that will be comparable, lol. Most coffee that you buy is brewed by folks who earn minimum wage and put a premeasured amount into the filter.
Timothy's as well is not bad.
Ah, drinking it black does make all the difference. I do like cream in my coffee and I tend to judge what's good coffee by whether or not I need a bit of sugar in it as well. I prefer not to put sugar in at all, I'm not really fond of sweet, but sometimes you need to counter brews that are extremely bitter.
Ahh Bush Coffee boiled with some egg shells to take the bitterness out.........Miss that.
I was looking for some coarse grind the other day at the grocery, to make some at home in an old stainless steel kettle.

Yep, and that's what I do at home. Melita dark roast. But i'm really not gonna be bothered to grind my good coffee for out in the bush. lol. Grab some coarse grind and go. That way I can have 10 cans in the sea-can and no one has to die if we run out.
Actually you'd probably laugh if you saw my coffee cupboard. two different grinders. Two french presses (one for foaming milk, one for making coffee), a moka pot for espresso. A mini battery operated foamer that was a stocking stuffer but rarely gets used. Assorted sprinkles, syrups, and coffee types and flavours. I can whip together one HELL of a latte.

Yep, beans and grinder for sure, don't know how many settings. All that sh*t tastes the same to me, just buy whatever is on sale. Folgers, Edwards, Maxwell House, M.J.B.k, Hills Bros..............all same sh*t.-

Oh F**k, so that will tie up the courts for four years. We're just strangled with bureaucracy. Instead of courts Gov't should have counsellers/mediator, the onus should be on the guy(s) laying the complaint to meet with perpetrator and a mediator and if everyone talked sense for half an hour I think a lot of this sh*t could be sorted out at minimal cost and time loss.

I don't know what the situation is when a guy "owns" a business under an umbrella. Common sense would suggest he would have to abide by Timmy's ethical and moral code, so I wouldn't think it would take more than 5 minutes to figure out if that's been broken or not. Part of the problem seems to be more with what happened after work than actually on the job, so maybe Timmy wouldn't give a sh*t about that stuff.
