I am not a Romney supporter (or an Obama supporter for that matter) but this type of behavior cannot be condoned or accepted. The whole idea of an open democracy is allowing everyone their opinion even if it is diametrically opposed to your own. I hope they find the idiot(s) and charge them with vandalism & public mischief and throw the book at them as an example to others.

If you're suporting Romney you must be a racist, at least according to MSNBC, so it's OK to vandalize the siigns.

I'm sure everyone at some point supported something Romney has said. Republicans explaining Romney's flip-flopping:
Why Republicans say

He would have fit in well with Chretien's Liberal party.

Delphi had fired 25,000 union workers, costing those workers about $1 billion from their pensions. Instead of using its extra capital to do right by the American worker, Delphi just finished buying factories in Asia that make car parts, for the same amount of money Delphi cost those workers' pensions:

October 26, 2012
TROY, Mich. (AP) — Delphi Automotive has completed its acquisition of FCI Group's motorized vehicles unit for 765 million euros ($987.5 million).

[FCI] is owned by affiliates of Bain Capital.

Delphi Automotive closes on FCI unit acquisition - Businessweek

As The Nation has reported, Mitt Romney made a fortune off of the auto-bailout by investing in Delphi and screwing those workers.

Delphi’s stockholders—the Romneys included—had one easy way to rectify the harm to these pensioners, much as GM did for its workers: just pay up.

Huge: Gallup Predicts Massive GOP Turnout…

So all those D+8, D+9 etc. bullsh!t polls are just that, bullsh!t.
Via Breitbart:
This morning, Gallup released a bombshell survey of likely voters this November. It wasn’t a horse race poll, i.e. which candidate is ahead, but rather a look at the underlying demographics that will make up the electorate this November. They slap the survey with a very misleading headline, “2012 U.S. Electorate Looks Like 2008.” While this is true in many respects, it obscures one very big difference. For the first time in a presidential election, more Republicans will vote than Democrats.

In 2008, 54% of likely voters identified as Democrat or lean Democrat. 42% of likely voters identified as GOP or lean GOP. In other words, the electorate, including independents who lean towards a particular party, was D+12. This year, however, the Democrat advantage has disappeared. 49% of likely voters today identify as GOP or lean GOP. Just 46% of likely voters are or lean towards the Democrats. This is a 15-point swing towards the GOP from 2008 to an outright +3 advantage for the GOP. By comparison, in 2004, when Bush won reelection, the electorate was evenly split, with each party getting support from 48% of likely voters.

If these numbers are within even a few points of what this survey suggests, then Romney will win decisively and the GOP will pick up the Senate. We are likely standing on the edge of another GOP wave election.

Locutus ... You can't predict a decisive Romney victory like this, the lunatic left wing fringe which makes up the majority of this board will savage you as they have me for saying the same thing. Oh wait a moment, you actually can because they like you as their token conservative here and because you are the moderator. Carry on.

P.S. I hope this post wasn't too long and you aren't going to scold me for it.

Hey Loc, Did you read that article Tay posted. Here is a quote that should catch everyone's attention...

But Romney has done a good job of concealing, until now, the fact that he and his wife, Ann, personally gained at least $15.3 million from the bailout—and a few of Romney’s most important Wall Street donors made more than $4 billion.

And some more...

It is reasonable to assume that Singer treated the Romneys the same as his other investors, with a third of their portfolio invested in Delphi by the time of the 2011 initial public offering. This means that with an investment of at least $1 million, their smallest possible gain when Delphi went public would have been $10.2 million, plus another $10.2 million for each million handed to Singer—all gains made possible by the auto bailout.

But that’s just the beginning. Since the November 2011 IPO, Delphi’s stock has roared upward, boosting the Romneys’ Delphi windfall from $10.2 million to $15.3 million for each million they invested with Singer.

But what if the Romneys invested a bit more with Singer: let’s say a mere 3 percent of their reported net worth, or
$7.5 million? (After all, ABC News reported—and Romney didn’t deny—that he invested “a huge chunk of his vast wealth” with Singer.) Then their take from the auto bailout so far would reach a stunning $115 million.

- Jesus you are one stupid asshat. Romney resigned from Bain some almost 15 years ago and would be a billionaire today had he stayed to make more money. Instead, he decided to devote the rest of his life to public service including rescuing the Olympics without pay and rescuing Taxachusetts without pay and now rescuing the US from Obama without pay.

- Why are you such a jealous loser?

Why don't you try reading the entire article before jumping in with your incessant derogatory remarks. I know it is more than 2 sentences and there are some words over 5 letter so it might be hard for you but do try at least. The deal had nothing to do with Bain. Romney's involvement was through the vulture hedge fund Elliot Mgmt run by Paul Singer, who also donated $2.3 million to the GOP. But why am I bothering you with facts when I could just call you an A$$hat and a jealous loser.

I sure hope your family likes you because I'm not sure anyone else would with the way you act around here.
