- JLM ... Yes, after "achieving" by far the weakest recovery of the nine recoveries since The Great Depression and after blowing over six trillion dollars to "achieve" this recovery which is more debt than any other three presidents combined in two full terms ever wasted, and after 43 consecutive months of unemployment above 8% when he "promised" that it would never go above 8% and would be below 6% by this time in his first term, and with more people having dropped out of the labour force than at any other time in history so that the real unemployment rate us running at a staggering 14.7% or higher, Obama can now say that he has wrestled unemployment down to the same 7.8% level that it was in Bush's last month in power.

- In other words, this incompetent idiot (this "eye candy" as he calls himself) has blown more money to achieve a worse result than any president in history.

- And even this 7.8% is dubious because only 114,000 net new jobs were created according to the usually reliable payroll survey and so it appears that the lowering of the rate from 8.1% to 7.8% was either a statistical anomoly from the very low and less reliable households sample or a result of a very large number of job seekers taking low paying part time positions or the Chicago mugs, thugs and slugs who make up BO's mafia leaning on the Bureau of Statistics bureaucrats to save Barry's sorry ass the same way they leaned on the Federal reserve last month to start pumping in $40 billion more each month into the dormant bond market. I suspect it is a combination of the first two factors at play. In any case, the US economy is still in very deep trouble with second quarter growth being revised downward just last week from 1.7% to 1.3%.

- Maybe you should leave these kinds of things to the grownups else you'll prove the point of mo other thread that Romney has the mormons but Obama has the morons.

I really thought people might twig on that my post was a little "tongue in cheek". Actually, employment levels are not to either the president's credit or discredit. I would guess of all the factors contributing to employment levels, who is president contributes a very low percentage, if even more than a fraction of a percent. I would say if anything the reverse is more likely, if high employment is the main criteria he can easily accomplish that by "growing" government and bureaucracy.

As soon as BHO got asked to verify some stat's he was touting and he couldn't the whole thing was not on the script on the Tele-Prompter. What do you do now? Look down at the Rostrum and act like you are lost. Well? Is that what happened? I can't wait for the Biden and Ryan show coming up next. That may also be entertaining. Once the facts are asked for no one can produce any verifiable numbers.

They both are good at debating. Most had high expectations for Obama while Romney's camp was downplaying his own expectations. Now Romney's will be set high for the next. It will be interesting to watch.

So what would happen if it was a standoff between DUHbama and Mittens, the corporate shill? Would there be a chance of a sensible person in charge if neither were elected?

lmao Another reddie from Wally. Must be nice to have no brains or balls to openly state what you disagree with..
