Let's not peddle this bull**** 'entitlement' argument that conservatives think is so clever.

The situation is more gradient than that.

Regardless of what form of action or responsibility you place on the individual, you cannot deny that the unemployment rate among youth is absolutely pathetic. This isn't because they aren't capable, it's because there are no opportunities for them.

The jobs picture for young workers (which Statistics Canada defines as those between the 15 and 24) got slightly worse, as their unemployment rate is now 14.3 per cent. Youth employment is roughly at the same level as in July 2009, when the labour market downturn hit a low.

Over 65,000 union jobs will be 'moving' to Ontario from the AB operations alone. Sask's oilsands are equal in size (if not larger) than AB's... How many jobs do you figure that will support in Canada's mfg hinterland?

You're all about entitlement Flossy, and we are seeing first-hand what path it leads down. Ignore it all you like, but lemme tell you that iPhones are probably the last thing on the minds of the entitled groups in Greece right now, I suspect that they are worrying about how they will feed themselves or get ahead in life.

Moving to where there is work is what seperates the haves from the have nots.

If an excellent opportunity that pays enough to raise a family is only a $150 bus ticket away there are no excuses.
