I really can't see myself being on your side in an argument. I stick as far as possible to the side that is on the right side: the moral side; the side that seeks to benefit society.

In general, I try to teach novices how to think and how to reason their way to a conclusion.

I don't bother too much with the hopeless cases.

A hotter and drier than average summer? Nope, has happened all along. Is it hotter and drier because we're adding a radiative forcing to the planetary energy balance? Climate change moves the average. That doesn't mean one season of above normal conditions was caused by climate change. Just as one season below doesn't mean the warming has stopped.

Though, it does mean that conditions which used to be extreme, are not as extreme anymore, simply because the average has changed.
