Want me to post all sorts of goodies on the guy? You won't like what you see. It's the most two faced crap imaginable. A real life Janus.

How can he be Canada's oil sands man in China and be behind the Green Bolsheviks at the same time flossy?

Pilot had too many doughnuts?
Maybe,our cook was famous!
We usually have lots of wind at that camp so they take as much fuel as they can and with no wind he loses a lot of lifting capabilities so had to try twice to get off the ground but it was close! I bet his temp gauges were dangerously in the red.

He's Harper's go to man in Beijing too. This isn't a partisan thing.

Lovely,i'm sure strong has lots of contacts though,so maybe it;s like milking an old liberal buddy.

Back when I followed politics and hated the libs I did lots of research on Strong,he was not well liked in the conversative camp back then as he was in with Martin and a few others.
Might have something to with why BC sells most of its coal to China,Maurice loves his dirty coal fired gen plants, hope he is still not in on the kyoto thing with his carbon credit bussiness.

Of course he is. What is the best way to get people to band together to fund things they would never noramlly fund? Scare the **** out of them and make them think they are helping themselves and not you.

But I would like to see a nonpartisan study confirming how many resources we really have and how long they're expected to last at the current rate. That would help to determine how long it can be sustained.

The thing about minerals is that they have a habit of hiding in the ground until some intrepid prospector discovers them, Machjo. And what has already been found is for the most part well documented and not in need of a study least by a group of 'nonpartisans' who haven't a clue what mining and mineral exploration truly involves.

Umm,the technology now is prospecting sites that they did 2 years ago.Mineralization is located by a helicopter like in my video and claims are filed on the internet now so they dont have to even leave the office, just study the reports they get every day from this new technology.
The days of guys wandering on the tundra doing field prospecting are long gone,an an arial survey is done now before anyone is sent to the site.

To get any mining equipment to the arctic takes a year and without infrastructure like an all weather road and deep sea port at Bathurst then only the good prospects will become mines, get that road and port in and you will see about ten mines start up and big ones, xtrata,Agnico eagle and Sabina gold are 3 that I know are just waiting for a commitment.
Canada is drilling the hell out of the arctic right now and has been for 50 years,we have riches beyond anyones wildest dreams.
Lets get er done!
