I believe in the Bible 100 % and it was written by men whom god told what to write . I also believe the Bible has no errors at all . It was meant to be exactly the way it is now for a reason and a small % know why . If there no god ? Life as we know it has no meaning . This is my beliefs , you can believe what ever you want , it's your choice. You can agree or disagree with my opinion that is also you choice . All that matters is what you believe in not what others try to tell you .

You can spin the texts to mean pretty much anything you want (MHz is the local master at that, but I'd bet you wouldn't accept a lot of what he says either), but really it's a matter of what the book plainly says versus what we now know to be true. The order of creation described in Genesis is wrong, there was no global flood, the walls of Jericho didn't fall down, and so on. If you don't know the difference between a fact and an opinion, you're never going to make sense of the world.

From what I understand many ancient cultures in a various parts of the world refer to a great flood?

When the land bridge between Spain and Africa broke, that would in that day be seen as a great flood.
