Obama was asked by the press if he had ever met Gov. Rod Blagojevich.

Barack Obama: "I only saw Rod Blagojevich one time … and that was in the stands and from a distance at a Chicago Bears Football Game."

To understand the next 4 years, you have to understand the “world according to Chicago …”

For three years now the Republicans have been repeatedly attacking Obama. In fact, Walter started his attacks even before Obama was sworn into office.

Now, for the past few months, the Republicans have been attacking each other with even greater virulence than they attacked Obama! The result is that each leading candidate quickly falls from grace and now an anti-Republican in Ron Paul is in the lead. How ironic!!

Honestly, I think American politics are insane. There is not a single soul in the running worth a plugged nickle.

Obama is an unmitigated disaster, but the GOP hopefulls are as sorry a lot as one could possibly dig up. Either stupid, corrupt, or completely out of touch, or a combination.......with a deficit of 1.7 TRILLION dollars last year, all these screaming loonies can find to argue about is length and amount of tax CUTS!!!!!!

A pox on both their houses, they are destroying one of the greatest nations that ever existed, and they are doing it in a most bi-partisan way.

Lunacy.

My deepest sympathy goes out to our American friends.

Seriously, in 2008 we elected a community organizer, state senator, college instructor first term senator over a guy who spent five years in a Vietnamese prison. And now he’s lecturing us about how America’s gone “soft”? Really? — Jonah Goldberg

Sigh.

The economic situation has nothing to do with Obama. Even he can't keep a real estate bubble from popping. The US economy centers around housing and contruction. I'm surprised the US has faired as well as it has. Look at what's going on in Europe.

America voted in their version of an Arab Spring. The middle class has been under attack for decades. Most industries have been completely exported where the beneficiaries of tax cuts can increase their wealth. The greed of the last number of decades has come home to roost. Ross Perot called it and no one listened. Obama has his hands tied because the GOP wants everything to fail so they can get back into power.

The whole US political system is full of phoney baloneys. The GOP members can't lead unless their object is to divide. Look at what they're doing to themselves. How anyone can trust that gang is beyond me.

The Dems had control of both Houses when Obama was elected... He has no excuses for why he couldn't do whatever he wanted
He tried to reason with the then Rep minority but nothing aside from religious backed nonsense and welfare for the rich will appease them.
