On the second World Series game I was privileged enough to share some beer with my now departed Uncle Gerald who was the RSM of The Black Watch. It was a great game shared in the company of a great soldier and awesome descent man.

Those men had stature, character and morals. A good friend was in the Black Watch, then they were no longer. A stain on our Military History. He eventually re-mustered in much disgust - with the new unit he was in to Supply - Turned down his promotion to Chief as he would not leave Pet. A fine man - Knew him in Pet and later we met again when I worked in Bosnia - we were both there - I smuggled the booze in.

What if they were beating the hell out of each other? If they were cursing and
behaving violently it would be fine to say something, as violence should be
challenged. However this was a kiss and it was two women and no matter what
the minister, the shop keeper or anyone else says it was an affront to his moral
view.
I think the churches and religious orders of the world should be aware of their
actions that are an afront to others. Think of the Spanish Inquisition or the witch
hunts of the past where they burned people in the street or tortured people in the
church basements of Europe. The past actions of churches offend me to no end.
Think about the residential schools, or the sex abuse scandals committed by the
protestants in America and this country for that matter.
After all they have done, a current minister of the church is offended by a kiss in
public by two women.
I know there are those who will say I am bashing Christianity, but the fact remains
there are other religions doing these same things. All I am saying is, those who
site history, heritage, and the religious way allows them to sit on a perch above
everyone else. Its not true, the heritage and history of our society is a blend of
good and evil and much of that evil was perpetrated by the churches themselves.
In the end a kiss is just a kiss and it does not matter who was kissing who;
A kiss is better than a fist any day.

.

There appears to be more to the story - If and I say if they were into a heavy groping - petting session - Then the manager acted correctly.

Was it my reaction or do I know how to ruffle feathers and enjoy doing it?
Your reaction. The latter is a weak attempt at escaping reality.

Otherwise the anger would be absent.

But if it makes you feel better, you can run with it. I've put enough holes in enough of your silly claims for one week.

Consider it my good deed for the day.

Funny enough I see how much the two of you agree on. But that is just me.

Regardless of sexual orientation there is behaviour that is not fit to be displayed in public. About 15 years ago or more there was a young couple (he and she) carrying on in front of me in the food line up on B.C. Ferries. He did just about everything but f**K her and she likewise. What a performance, but no one said a word.
