Because they watched Honda and Kumi, and adopted Japanese standards.

Why do you keep bringing up robots?

Do you think only robots build cars?

Do you think only the building label GM, or Chrysler, were saved by the bail out?

These rallies need more of that smart guy, and less of the Lotion men.
Lemme guess...Ford didn't need a bail-out because it's suppliers were balied out?

Silly angle but run with it if you like.

LOL, wow, right to making up things I didn't say...

Sure run with that, instead of answering the questions.

2. I like robots. Ever seen Short Circuit?
3. Ever seen Short Circuit?
4. See above about suppliers. How are Allied, TRW and AC Delco, Mo-Parts, tire makers etc doing these days anyways?

So in other words, you got nothing.

Not that I'm surprised.

Have you ever worked for the automotive manufacturing industry?

Do you see where that one's going?

Why are you confused?
I'm not.

You are, hence your mangled attempt at replying to...

You wanted answers so you got answers. Don't like them?
Don't like what? The make believe you posted that has nothing at all to do with what I posted?

Is that the nonsense you think are answers?

Try reading post #738, one more time and try again.

Couple Seeks Trademark For "Occupy Wall St."

OCTOBER 24--Citing the potential of “Occupy Wall Street” to become a “global brand,” a Long Island couple has filed to trademark the name of the amorphous organization responsible for the protests and encampments in lower Manhattan and other U.S. cities, The Smoking Gun has learned.
In a U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) application, Robert and Diane Maresca are seeking to trademark the phrase “Occupy Wall St.” so that they can place it on a wide variety of goods, including bumper stickers, shirts, beach bags, footwear, umbrellas, and hobo bags.

Heroin Dealers Living with 6-Year-Old in Tent Busted at Occupy Boston

Two Occupy Boston members have been arrested on drug charges, Boston police said yesterday.
Bostonians Isaac Bell, 34, and Charlene Dumont, 31, were both charged with distribution of a class A drug (heroin) and possession with intent to distribute a class A drug within 1,000 feet of a school zone, police say.
The 6-year-old child who was living with them in a tent is now staying with family members, police said.
The arrests were made Friday after police said they received “multiple reports of drug activity in and around” Occupy Boston’s Rose Kennedy Greenway encampment.
Also this weekend, protest-minded vandals made their mark on 21 downtown buildings, police said.
At the Bank of America building at 100 Federal St., vandals spray-painted “Occupy,” “Bad for America” and “Yer building is crowding our skyline,” while the international anarchist symbol was painted on buildings at 100 Summer St., 101 Arch St. and 65 Franklin St.
The words “Burn the Money” was painted on buildings at 99 Bedford St. and 9 East St., and a profanity was painted on a downtown Starbucks.

This guy may have lived in the USSR but he has no clue what socialism is. USSR was not socialist, it was not even communist. It was a fascist dictatorship, a wolf in sheep's clothing, same with China.
He knows what Che was all about than doesn't he?

Sweden is a socialist country and there are no mass murders, people have jobs and their standard of living is as good as or better than ours.
Mixed with a healthy helping of capitalism.

So I call BS on this video.
I call BS on your post. Do you know how many people Che murdered?

Who's that on the poster?

What brand of socialism are those twits peddling?

Sweden's?

I think not.

I liked part of Che's goal, but he was an ignorant ruthless f!cker.

"Just watching the stupid people like you"...

For the most part, driven into bankruptcy themselves by GM and Chrysler.
Occupy Wall Street?

What do they have to offer us? Consider a complex machine which works but not perfectly. Anyone can destroy it; no advanced knowledge is usually needed to accomplish this. But one has to be highly knowledgeable in order to repair it, or to design a better replacement. I am thinking about sophisticated engines, airplanes, TV sets, X ray scanners, computers, airconditioners, oil refineries, etc.

The same is true for an economic system. No system is perfect; but some are more efficient than others. Trying to destroy US capitalism *without offering something better is likely to create a lot of misery. I am thinking about what Lenin and Stalin did, as decribed in my two short books. These books are now freely available online; the links are at:

Diary of a former Polish communist; two free books on-line

Note that even now, one hundred years after the Soviet revolution, standards of living in Russia are much lower than in the US, and in other western countries.
