Case in point...

Yup, the case in point is that you have no problem brown nosing and kissing some cops ass. You have no problem defending some jackbooted cops actions towards an innocent teenage victim. So, yes, you are right. Case in point.

Am I missing something?
Gh's transformation into a combination of Abtfet, EAO, OB and Mhz. Minus the crazy conspiracy theories of course.

Complying with lawful commands is not 'kissing a cops ass', Abtfet.

You have no problem defending some jackbooted cops actions towards an innocent teenage victim.
No, I have no problem analyzing what data is available, and coming to a reasonable conclusion as to why they took the course of action they did.

I'll wait and see what further evidence is made available, before I play judge, jury and executioner like you.

As evidenced by your completely baseless, silly, absurd and ludicrous claims, Abtfet.

So, yes, you are right.
I usually am. I don't know why you argue with me.

I don't why I do either, it's like arguing with my 26 year old nephew. He is autistic with the mental ability of a 2 year old.

Yep, that is what it's been like trying to hold down a decent conversation with you, for a couple weeks now.

Bear - Gerry has me on ignore, but it is not right to use his Nephews Disability - So perhaps you could pass the point on or not - your decision.

I'll pass it on, but I don't think it was bad or inappropriate of him to use his nephews disability to describe what it's like trying to have a discussion with himself these days.

The link I posted about the Williams Lake teen is a prime example of individuals expected to kiss some cops ass to keep from being mistreated.

Sure, sh*t like that happens, I acknowledged in an earlier that there ARE some assholes in the force, and I also said it FAIRLY SELDOM happens.

And of course you're right.

In the case Gh cited, the girl was found trespassing, after placing a cell call to 911. The police had no way of knowing she was who she said she was, and were answering a call.

They attempted to detain her, for their safety, common practice, and she resisted. They cuffed her and placed her in a cruiser. She began kicking the windows, and they had to subdue her.

Where Gh thinks I kiss cops asses, is the fact that I have said numerous times, from personal experience, comply!

In the numerous times I've had the misfortune of being detained by law enforcement, I complied, I was released when the cops realized I was not the assailant. Or arrested without incident.

I have however been the victim of police brutality in my life. The cop that committed the act twice, eventually gave me a job, working for him in his private business. So I would stop causing grief on his beat.

We're still close friends.

"Couple of weeks"?????????????????????? :lol::lol::lol::lol:
I've always been able to communicate with Gh, until lately. Since we managed to set aside our differences, we have had many great conversations. And I still believe he is for the most part grossly misunderstood.

He seems to want to take over for Abtfet.

Your analogy based upon numbers makes a valid point. Also RCS with his comment on video cams, cells etc – things goes viral within hours. His point is bang on as more often than not the wrong impression is made. Not always but quite often.

Lastly – Not all provinces have but they should have is an independent board for reviewing Police Conduct in certain circumstances – Ontario had a good office – It has gone to hell. The first fellow that ran it went from there to be the Armed Forces Ombudsman – Raised a lot of hell.

Why is it that more and more people are breaking the law? Why are budgets being cut so there are less and less police to protect us?

In the past 40 years street drugs have become vogue and street drugs are against the law. There is still quite a lot people can do to protect themselves, like avoiding vulnerable locations at vulnerable times of the day.

I remember when "Take back the night" made that irrelevant in many large cities.

Only to be replaced by "Stop snitching".

It's amazing how culture changes.

I know, I know, only you and your com-padre's are allowed to invoke Nazi symbolism without invoking Godwins law.

Drugged up delusional reich .. oops, right wingers, all ''think'' that way.

He will either choke it down or puke.

You're the one with the mouth wide open and you're talking about what others eat? HAHAHA!

Kind of sexist

You know something Can-girl, you look a lot like Che Guevara in that pic of yours. ;)

Guys....I'm not seeing where the personal sniping is contribution to the Thread in any
positive manner, or has anything to add to the topic itself. Am I missing something?

Up to just a few weeks ago the right wingers on this forum were all abuzz about defending people's right to dissent in Egypt and other parts of the Arabian world. Now all of a sudden they decide that dissent is not such a good thing after all. If these drugged up delusionals were consistent in their ''principles'' they would repeat what they did before about how it is a God given right to carry weapons in the face of tyrannical government. In fact they should be volunteering to stand up to the government brutality and confront any cop who dares to impede anyone's right to protest. But that would take a demonstration of principle that they don't have.

As for the usual forum sniping, as always it started with the far right delusionals. They have no answer to the question posed by us patriots so they resort to their usual hate and innuendo. No surprise, again.
