How do you tell the difference between Fukushima radiation, Chernobyl radiation, Hiroshima radiation, the radiation from a few hundred test blasts over the last half century and natural radiation?

By looking at the source, and type of radiation. Most of the background is cosmic radiation, which are about 90% protons and hydrogen. Fukushima, Chernobyl, and nuclear weapons produce heavy isotopes.

Re: Canada Government Covered Up "Massive Amounts Of Fukushima Radiation In Air"

All the information anybody could want has been available on the internet. There's really nothing to be done about it, so there's really nothing more to say about it. Don't stand in the rain, don't eat anything raised or grown in, or around, Japan for a very long time and hope for the best.

I was caught in the Chernobyl rains on May 5,1986 in the Netherlands ... where the first winds blew after the accident. 25 years later, I'm still alive with no known effects from the radiation. I suspect that anything coming from Japan can't be all that bad by the time it arrives in Canada.

You may be fine, but you were exposed to an event that increases risk of developing serious conditions.

This is true, as were all the people in Northern Europe. After the Chernobyl blowout, the winds went a little east, and then straight south into the Netherlands. From there, they went west. There was nothing to be done except stay out of the rain, throw away all the produce, keep the cattle on silage until the half life was deemed safe enough and hope for the best. There are common sense things to do in the situation. I don't think Japan has done enough in their own country regarding warning people about the halflife of the radiation, but we're far enough away that the radiation is not nearly as dangerous. I guess it will be interesting to see the health impact in Japan in about a year or two.

Fire balloons.

From late 1944 until early 1945, the Japanese launched over 9,300 of these
fire balloons, of which 300 were found or observed in the U.S. Despite the high
hopes of their designers, the balloons were ineffective as weapons, and caused
only six deaths (from one single incident)—a kill rate of 0.067%—and a small
amount of damage.

Japanese bomb-carrying balloons were 10 m (33 ft) in diameter and, when fully
inflated, held about 540 m3 (19,000 cu ft) of hydrogen. Their launch sites were located on the east coast of the main Japanese island of Honshū.

From Sendai of all places. Go figure.

Japan released the first of these bomb-bearing balloons on November 3, 1944.
They were found in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, Texas, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Michigan[2] and Iowa, as well as Mexico and Canada.

General Kusaba's men launched over 9,000 balloons throughout the course of the project. The Japanese expected 10% (around 900) of them to reach America, which is also what is currently believed by researchers.[citation needed] About 300 balloon bombs were found or observed in America. It is likely that more balloon bombs landed in unpopulated areas of North America.

The last one was launched in April 1945.
If fire balloons made it all the way to Canada and beyond from the east coast of the main Japanese island of Honshu you can bet we've been inundated by radioactive aerosols. When it comes to aerosol radioactive particles everyone is in danger world wide. The fuel burning in those reactors is of the highest enrichment possible for commercial use.

I assume you mean if the current trend on denial continues. If there is a sharp increase in 'illnesses' and deformities in new borns would that come under the heading of 'how were we supposed to know. The children that recently saw the Pope should have asked the Pope to visit them in one of the most contaminated sites over in Japan, see how unwilling he and his entourage would be to doing that would be an indicator of just how dangerous the area is and if it is well beyond having a 'positive attitude' is the only 'help' they need.

Were there any increases in the number if infant deaths back then like is being reported in the west coast of the is, that was around a an increase from 9 deaths to 12. Any stats on Canada in that area?

I'm quite happy to hear that you are 'fine' however I don't think you qualify as the end all of how dangerous that meltdown was.
