This Canucks team is like Hyde and Jekyll with how they play at home and away during the finals. Mr. Hyde has made his appearance tonight. Ugly. And now, even though they are at home for game 7, all the pressure will be on the Canucks.

The score didn't tell the real story in that one- Boston outplayed the Canucks in period 1, Canucks outplayed Boston in 2 and 3. Had Schneider played the entire game, we'd be lugging the Cup home tonight.

So is Luongo going in game 7? If so, I would imagine that he will have a shorter leash than he did tonight.

The two Thomas let in would be easy saves for Luongo.

Luongo should play for Boston.

I think he has to, he's been impeccable at home. I always say the man is more important than the game- you don't destroy the man, worse case scenario - we lose and have to wait one more year. Luongo is genuine and gives his best, Thomas is an arrogant, chest thumping, egotist. Had Raymond not been injured things may have gone differently, as that probably spooked the team, so early in the game and Raymond being one of the most aggressive players.

Seems like the odds-makers in Vegas were the only ones who had clue what would happen in this series. Let us hope that their prediction of the Canucks win at home comes true too.

No word yet on Raymond's injury.

Good call to put Corey in for Lu tonight. Some goalies have problems with certain arenas and TD Gardens just seems to be Lu's Achilles heel - it is what it is - and he most certainly will start game 7, for all the naysayers.

GO, CANUCKS, GO!

I was very dissapointed tonight, how can a team who spots the other team 3 goals, then play thru
that, against a goalie like thomas, and feel they can win.

Luongo must be giving vineault more grey hair with each game. I know luongo will start next game,
what else can vineault do, lights out at home, sieve in boston, it sure is a head scratcher, I wonder
what a shrink would say.

If canucks win on wednesday 1-0, they will win the cup, but will have been outscored by many many
goals, and the losing goalie will win the con smythe trophy. Do we then cut the cup in half, and
have half each or?

I hope canucks reach their goal and win the cup, but I'm afraid i've lost a bit of my enthusiasm, this
series has been about the wierdest I have ever seen, i'll watch on wednesday, i'll cheer for them, but
i sure won't have the passion I had, most of that is gone.

I wonder what is wrong with raymond, I didn't see any dirty play on that hit, it seemed quite harmless,
and raymond crunched down, as he does many times, and seemed his chin went into the other players knee,
and maybe the jarring on the rest of his body did some damage.

Edler and Alberts left near the end of the game with injuries, hope they will be back on wednesday.

Talloola, your sentiments about waning enthusiasm is shared by many. At least it is by me. The whole playoff run is too long. More than anything I can't wait for Wednesday because that is the day hockey will finally end.

Weird series. If the Canucks somehow manage to win it will be done through smoke and mirrors. So far it's been like watching Apollo Creed pummel Rocky Balboa for fourteen rounds, but the ref hasn't stopped the fight and Rocky is still swinging. Albeit blindly.

Vigneault must be at his wits end with just about everyone on that team.

But I actually saw the team get off to a great start tonight, they were showing that they were going
to be a threat to boston, and all of a sudden boom, 1,2,3 goals and those poor guys didn't know what
hit them, how on earth were they suppose to survive THAT, and they played very well, but they were
allready behind by 3, then quickly 4, and boston is a good defensive team, and with that goalie, what
team is ever going to come all the way back.

I truly believe that if luongo had been sharp and on his game, the cup would be in vancouver by now,
and hockey would be over for the season.

The team was ready to win, they were playing well, then the roof fell in.

I can understand it happening 'like that' once, twice is unacceptable, but three times, really?

Good luck to the canucks, I hope they get it done, but i'm just about all done, and you're right
kreskin, thats too long to be uptight, nervous, waiting, waiting for the next game, I want to get
back to my real life, and i'm almost there.

Lions play calgary on Wednesday, looking forward to lulay this year, and all of their new guys,
seems they will have a very good team.

The entire scenario is very weird to say the least. It's sure a different "season" now. With both Chicago and Boston they haven't looked like serious Cup contenders. At risk of sound disloyal, I would have to say Boston is more deserving of the Cup- the Canucks convincingly earned home ice advantage which so far is a saviour for them.

There was an obvious difference between the way the games were played in Boston and the way
they were played in Vancouver. The big obvious difference was the officiating. In Boston the refs
were so biased in favor of Boston it was ridiculous. A Vancouver player was cross-checked in the face,
speared, and tripped and ended up being called for diving. The whole of game 6 Vanvouver players were
being hauled down with no calls. I can only believe that somehow, Bettman is the orchestrator of this farce.

ROFLMAO

I do hope that if Vancouver pulls it off tomorrow they do so with a vengeance.

If they win by scoring one goal it will be a sad victory. They need to get aggressive and the defense has got to wake the hell up. Oh, and stick handling and passing might be an effective strategy instead of blindly firing it up the ice.

Whoever let Raymond get up and leave the ice needs a slap. He should have been put straight on a stretcher.

It's a concern for sure, Karrie, but I imagine as long as he was able to move all extremities, the hazard was minimal and they probably didn't want to give Boston anything more to gloat about. I'm guessing he'll be back in the line up tomorrow.

Seems we are in the same boat as regards the Canucks now, talloola. After last nights fiasco and considering how badly we have been outscored in the series, I have to say that Boston is the better team - much as it hurts to say so. Whether it is the officiating or the inability of Lu to win in Boston or the loss of important players - the team just fell to pieces last night. Watching Marchand repeatedly punch Henrik, I think it was, in the face was the final humiliation. Nobody stepped up to stop it - nobody.

It is hard to cheer for a team that can only win at home.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Canucks win tomorrow night but it will be a hollow victory.

I will never blame a loss on officiating. Boston seem to have a plan when it comes to infractions,
committ hundreds of them, as the officials can only see so many at a time, so we will get away with
most of them, true, that has happened.

But the ones that are right there for us to see on the TV are 'head scratchers' for sure, BUT canucks
did not lose the game because of officiating.

The goalie gave boston 3 goals to start the game, then another quick one on schneider, then "OK BOYS,
LETS SEE IF WE CAN WIN NOW', give me a break, what has that got to do with officiating.

How much stuffing is out of the rest of the players after that little goaltending display, and it
was good to see them try to battle back for the rest of the game, (which was most of the game), and
they did score a couple, just think how good things could have been without those 3 easy goals at the
beginning of the game.

Someone today accused luongo of being paid off by the mafia, thats a new one, kind of funny, as he
is italian, looks like he could be part of the mafia, when dressed in his light coloured suits, hair
slicked strait back from his face, hillarious, 'whats next'.

he has a fractured vertebrae, will be out 4 to 6 months, and yes, I agree karrie, hauling him up off
of the ice, the way they did, was very scary, and we said as much at the time, he could be more
seriously injured now, because of that. I'm very surprised, as canucks staff is so experienced
and thorough usually.

yes JLM, if they do manage somehow to pull this off, I don't ever want to hear anyone say again, "I
don't give a damn about the presidents' cup, the stanley cup is all that counts", because that
presidents' cup will be the only thing that saved them, 'if they get saved at all'.

I don't blame the loss on officiating either, talloola - it is just one of the 'reasons' floating around along with the others I mentioned. I personally think that Lu has problems with the TD Gardens; Raymond got injured; Boston scored those quick goals that left all of us speechless and things just wandered off from there. I truly thought that the Canucks were coming back in the 3rd, they came out like gangbusters and got that first lovely goal by Henrik. I can't even remember who got the second goal now but the Hansen miss was another bummer for the team. In the end, Boston was not going to be denied and did everything they possibly could to prevent the Canucks from getting scoring chances and when that failed they had Tim in net. I am so glad we won't see another game in Boston this year.

yeah, and once they had a 4-0 then 5-1 lead, all boston had to do was play solid defense, and that
includes thomas, no need to press offensively, (which is the weak part of their game), so they
just had to cruise along and keep pucks out of their net.

I bought a real nice cake from the bakery yesterday, all decorated with canucks logo on top.

We had 1/2 of it last night.

My oldest daughter, who might come tomorrow to watch game, sent me an E Mail, and asked if we
still had 'that' cake, or is it plastered all over the TV by now. lol
