What can you say about this team. I was almost sure we were going to SJ again. Luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu! he gave them one then saved the day! What a goalie. What a team. What a way to win the game. This will be a classic for sure. I am beside myself with happiness and joy.
Now the Bruins can sew up their series tomorrow and Lord Stanley will come back to Canada where he truly belongs.

That was amazing! I started watching with about 5 minutes left in the third and I didn't get off the couch until the end. What a goal by Bieksa! It wasn't the prettiest, and it may have been a duck like he said, but it got the Canucks into the Finals! Luongo made several stellar saves in both OTs(as did Niemi).
I cannot wait for game #1! It should be an excellent series no matter who the Canucks face(I'm hoping for Boston).

Hard to believe it was 17 years ago when the Canucks beat TO to go to the final. I watched that one in a bar in New Westminster with a bunch of work mates as we were on a seminar at the time. Seems like last month!

I don't shadowshiv, I want Boston to win. I want Timmie and Lu to go head to head and I want Tyler Seguin to play in his first Stanley Cup. Soreeeeeeeee! I am going to be cheering just as hard for Boston tomorrow as I did for the 'nucks tonight.

I want Boston to beat Tampa Bay, I just don't want them to do it in Game #6. I want their series to go the full seven games so that the Canucks can rest their tired and sore bodies.
You know what JLM, just for this one night.......oh and maybe when we win the Cup :lol:, I really wish I had been right there in the arena. The atmosphere and energy would have lifted me out of my socks. I was thinking of you as we went to OT, like me, I am sure you didn't mind sitting up late for this one! LOL :lol:

My bad :-( but for Boston's sake, I still want them to take it tomorrow - though it is not going to be easy and there are many who think that I am nuts for thinking they can. Hey, but we did it!
I agree 100%. The atmosphere at the actual game would be far more intense than just watching it on television(as good of an alternative as that is). You would feed on the energy of the other fans, and the intensity(especially after the winning goal!) would be out of this world!!!
