so many canuck fans are afraid to let themselves go, and really enjoy this run they are on, they
are almost there, and if they don't make it now, its OK, they'll do it next year.

wow, no one wants to hear that do they, next year is like another lifetime away, but it is truly
how I feel.
they will have same team next year, but even stronger, and if they win it all, they can still come
back next year and do it again, wouldn't that be cool.

I'm lovin this, enjoying every moment, and i'm not worried in the least, lets just get fully behind
all of them and cheer and holler louder and louder the closer they get.

I was very worried and nervous during the chicago series, as I knew if they lost that one, they
would be so trashed, and I didn't want to see them treated like that, but that is in the past
now, and won't happen if they don't make it, oh I guess by a few, but those are just the babies
that can't take it.

GO CANUCKS GO

"its OK, they'll do it next year." Spoken like many a Rider fan, talloola! LOL!

It's the journey, not just the destination that counts when you are a fan, right talloola? For what is a victory if you don't know how you achieved it? What it took to get there and what happened a long the way.

GO, CANUCKS, GO! :canada:

yeah, for me the journey is the ultimate experience.

works in other parts of life too, we spent a few months browsing for a car, was such fun, then we
bought a car, and it was a bit of a let down, couldn't 'look' any more. lol

I notice that canucks are a 'little' bit more 'open' about mentioning that a win tonight will
put them into the stanley cup final, which is something the never do, they always just focus
on the game at hand, and never look ahead at all.

I think this is done with intent, so that there is no chance of any sort of let down tonight
because the desperation isn't there like it will be for san jose.

It is just human nature, and that desperation can win games.

There has to be a big mixture of focus, excitement, purpose, and the knowledge that they can
do it, and hopefully some desperation.

Well desperation worked for Tim Thomas and the Bruins last night so maybe you are onto something there, talloola. I want to see them fight with everything they've got for the win tonight. I want them totally exhausted after playing every single minute of the game. I want them to hit clean, pass well, finesse the shots and shut down the neutral zone. The Sharks are going to be edge of your seat scary tonight as desperation is really their motivation right now. Our guys have to do their best to keep out of harm's way while getting to the net for goals.

We gotta rattle Niemi's cage early and often - get him off-balance and edgy.

yep, a couple of early goals will do that, and hopefully the officiating will be invisible and only
call what is necessary.

the two fifth games they lost early on should motivate them big time.

You notice how they can play when they are down two goals? I've often wondered why they don't just start the game pretending they are down two goals. They wouldn't take the stupid penalties and they'd be in the offending zone 90% of the time.

the media are driving me a little crazy today, because they have got this game won, and they are
on to finals and parades, and talking about how much better canucks are than san jose, not a
good scene, sure glad the players don't do that, media are also talking about how
banged up san jose are, and I think that plays right into san jose's hands, makes
them look weak and finished, which they are not, lets stay real here.

They are driving me crazy too, a win against San Jose can only be assured if EVERY Canuck is doing his job properly.

A "nail biting" first period for sure, but the right team is on the scoreboard, but VERY VERY lucky killing that 5/3, hope they don't try any more of that. The good thing is S.J. is going to run out of steam pretty fast at the rate they are going and then the Canucks can just leisurely hammer them in the third. Lu is good enough tonight to shut them out. Final score 6/0.

You know I think these boys need to have one of their members knee capped so that they'll wake the hell up.

Come boys! Get on with it! You look like a bunch of Broom Ball Players.

Gack!

Worried about Kesler. Hope it was more of a cramp.

Luongo has been great tonight.

Keep rolling the Sedins.
